I get it guys Ya wanna hear the engine not the music. Im the same, BUT the problem was that the audio from the rolling shots was heavily compromised by wind noise. That and we were still using the back half of a standard V6 exhaust. To the point of there being little to ZERO noise from the car for the majority of what we filmed. The car got louder as the day / that drive went on and the exhaust got molested by those dirty hot rotor pulses. The engine noise you CAN hear in the clip has been DUBBED. 80% of it DID NOT EXIST. Is it great? No , but Im an amateur. We couldn't reshoot as we were out of time. The use of music helped me hide the fact that I had dubbed the same 3.5 second clip of engine noise in repeatedly. Sorry to ruin the magic but for some reason I feel like I need to explain myself. Hopefully we will create a video next that everyone will like. Well at least those who like brap noises. I hope that this explains the situation. I try.

Na, it’s the act that really mattered. And for those with true taste (brap lovers) we can always superimpose that lovely tone over the top of anything if the reality doesn’t supply 🤘🏻Keep up the good work!
I was one of the complainers about hearing music instead of engine sound. Thanks for taking time to explain. Ive always been fascinated by the Mazda roadpacer so I had to click when I saw the video. I think your content is great I reckon it's sick youre skillful and crazy enough to upgrade the VN like that. I should have said that in my other comment instead of just being negative. So yeah looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.

I really liked your "General Rotors" and the logo mod on the grill, laughed my arse off. (because I used to own a VN Commadore, a Red one even). You could nearly put two more rotor plates on that, and make it longer, there is plenty of room.

Love it. Rotaries are so cool for engine swaps because they don't use up a lot of engine bay. Trans tunnels as you mentioned are an entirely different matter.
So glad I found this channel absolutely brilliant sure to upset some true mang fans but it's just a different better kind of mang ! Especially with some boost haha, but God damn a 20B would fit nice in there

Being a lover of rotary and the old commodores I found this video funny as hell and well worth the watch
Replaces 3.8l V6 with 1.0 rotary engine, still had to cut cross member to make engine fit......
Love it, I wish i never sold my Rotaries 20 years ago :( Rx-4 was $4500, RX-7 series 1 restored with gold three piece simmon's $5400 and then i splashed out on a RX7 S4 $15000 and i blew a apex seal driving it home. Rebuild time $4500.00 later . Ahhhhhhhhh Those were the joys and memories of owning a chook cooker rotisserie ;) - Keep up the videos mate :)

Nice! Shame the 10A did Rotary things but the big block is a worthy replacement. Channel just keeps on kicking goals, Jay is very comfortable in front of the camera now and the editing is mint. Respect.

I was at the race meeting at Phillip Island where the RX3 the 10A was in was killed. Car was T Boned a Lukey Heights on passengers side. It was hit so hard the passenger door was pushed into the trans tunnel. Was a great looking car in black too.

It will need a set of 4.44:1 diff gears or something like thar, the Mazda Roadpacer (aka HJ Holden Premier) was fitted with that 4.44:1 1 tonner diff ratio in Japan, believe me,a 202 Holden six cylinder powered one of them had a top speed of 100 km/h but not the Roadpacer which had a top speed of 160 km/h.
I know that Andy Perrett runs 4.11:1 diff gears in the Ford 9" diff in his turbocharged 20B powered HQ Holden Kingswood & it goes very well with a power output of 309 kilowatts of power & 600 Newton Metres of torque !

It will be getting 4.1s as they are easy to find and a direct fit without changing the diff.
Currently has 3.08 with the 6 speed
If you want to save yourself some pain and hassle in the future switch out the Apex seal with the aviation Apex seal they are a harder metal and will last a lot longer the factory side seals are fine just switch out the Apex

About 2003 I had a genuine yellow VL Turbo BT1 that the RB30 decided to let go.. so I did what any purist would do... decided a 13b turbo would be the best replacement. I was getting Rotorworx to do the install & it was all mounted in and getting close to running.. when I got a forum message saying the shop had folded and my car was out on the street and I'd better come collect it. No notice from them and heaps of parts missing so the project ended there unfortunately (thanks scumbags!!).
