This is the Queensbridge, Long Island City Nas. All he knows is the Queensbridge houses and he writes 9 songs that let you know exactly what it's like to live there. I went there to tape flyers on project doors for Z-Tel Communications. I got pelted with snowballs and I ain't do shit!
Another classic album you really need to check out is, Mecca and the soul brothers.... Pete Rock and CL Smooth... Flawless album
Nas' pen is no joke.
I agree with Jerseydan95 and overall Memory Lane is my fav on this album, so good tyvm
Correction, he's not one of them ones, he's THE one
It is not one of the greatest albums. IT IS THE GREATEST ALBUM OF ALL TIME. Every cut is fire EVERY SINGLE CUT 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
you gotta do Mobb Deep - The Infamous next...
He dropped Halftime way before the album, like 91-92, we was waiting like crazy for the album
*NaS = G.O.A.T !!!*

Be talking. I’ve been listening to hip hop rap for a long ass time. The way I see it. Undisputedly. Top 3 no order. NAS, MF DOOM, REDMAN. @ me idc nobody gon change my mind until they been listening as long as I have. And fr they only gon be up to par for discussion at that point cuz mfs be IGNORANT mf idc if you say you listen like the way I listen. I listen fr and i live this shit. Love this shit. Most ppl are born ignorant and stay ignorant anyways. Yk that if you fr. And if you agree, imma still look at you and treat you like Nas treatin ya right on this album. It’s cover, lyrics and all. Yk it. You see through thr facades at a young age, but for me, don’t be ignorant to the good world outside it
Remixing top tracks was a big thing back in these days, so if you can find some of the remixes to your fave tracks on this album, you'll be happily surprised. Back in the days we just watched the remix videos or went to record/cd store to buy remix singles. You may have to dig nowadays, but they're out there. I loved your reaction to this all time classic. Thank you for keeping the legacy alive! Peace to you.
Sneak an uzi on the island in my army jacket lining
You gotta peep The Rise & Fall by Nas...man breaks down his whole career in 4 mins
In my opinion Nas isn't the best 'rapper' of all time. He's up there with the great musicians of all time. Up there with Bruce Sprinsteen, Queen, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel. Hes that nasty
One of the realist comments ever posted much love cuzz
Yeah bruh… Nas set the bar and standard with an overall project when this album dropped back then… lol these no skip albums are rare to come by
Well done on the break down! Compliments!

I don't just subscribe to anybody, I've been watching you for a while now and I appreciate your reactions. I love to see my youngins listening to nas and appreciating his greatness. Peace young God!
Best album ever
Nas is for sure one of the GOATS.... Anyone who grew up in the 80s and 90s knows the impact he had on hip-hop. For most of us, Rakim was the unquestioned king of 80s era and Nas emerged to become the unquestioned king of the emcees in the era immediately following when he dropped Illmatic.
its the best hiphop album ever. Nothing compares You feel like you are in NYC and you can be from fuckin kentucky. No album does this.
More like 30 years young King.....salute to you....for taking the time to listen to the legends❤
