The front and back porches are so inviting with the added touches and beautiful pops of color. I would be having my morning coffee out there every morning during the cooler weather that is. I am in the south too.:-) I love the ferns. I have two on my back porch. Have a Happy Easter!

Hi Donna I love both front and back porches . I love ferns I think they are so beautiful. When I visited my sister in-law in Washington state they grew wild everywhere.🌻🍋🌻

Oh it looks so pretty. Pressure washing is amazing. Wish I could pressure wash the inside of my house too.lol. Love how green everything is. We are having such fierce winds, little to no rain and horrible wildfires in our state. Please pray for rain in our area.

you porches look awesome. I especially love the black bench on the back porch. Also I could see a small 3x5 outdoor area rug with greens and teals in front the 2 chairs for texture and pattern. I also love, love that teal kimono!
Thank you!!! I’ve actually been looking for a rug for both areas. I think they need it so hopefully I will find what I like soon. That bench is very special. It was a Mother’s Day gift from my daughter years ago. I painted it black a few years ago and I love it. ☺️💕🌸

Awwww, Standing on that door mat, Buster is saying "Come on in ya'll". LOL It looks like Spring has sprung at your house Donna. Girl, pressure washing is a job but looks so good. I have the same green pillows on my couch . To me, you're not in the south if you don't have ferns somewhere. Only thing here in Virginia they don't winter over very good. I love your day lilies. I bought 6 ferns for our porch last week. I wanted to get them because they sold out so fast last year I didn’t get any. It’s been 30-40 degrees during the day and 20 degrees at night so they’ve been sitting all over inside our house til I can hang them outside on the porch. Looks like 10 days from now we will hit 50 degrees. Yay!! I love your porch. The ferns are so pretty and I love that bright green too on your pillows. It all looks so pretty. Thank you for sharing.

Hey Donna! Your porches look so inviting! 💖 I love ferns also! Some people think they’re old fashioned but I’m old fashioned, so there! 😂🤪 I always put ferns on my front porch. It’s a southern thing that I love. Makes me wanna go get some but the risk of frost is still real here in Virginia so I’ll wait a couple more weeks. Have a happy, blessed Easter! Donna your porches look great. I know what you mean about the weather, I had the same problem when I was filming my Spring porch. I bought a Kimberly fern thinking it was a Boston Fern but a few of my viewers let me know what kind it was, one viewer said it is also called a Sword Fern, all your ferns look so “southern”.

Your porches look fantastic. I know what you mean about keeping concrete clean. My back porch was covered and I wanted to tile it but was just more than I wanted to spend cause I knew we were going to sell our house. So I went to Lowes or Home Depot and bought porch paint for cement. Oh my goodness! It looked beautiful after I painted it, and so easy, you just roll it on. Now, you need to be sure concrete is pressure washed, which you’ve already done and completely dry. The paint dries quickly and you can walk in it the next day. Then I would pressure wash it if it started to look dingy and it never even tried to come up. I actually think it was a cement porch stain. The store can help you. I chose a complimentary color to my house. Also, your flowers are so pretty. Still have leafless trees here in the mountains. A few things are starting to pop up. Your red Amaryllis are so pretty. My momma & my granny always had them in their yards. Ok sweet girl, have a great day. Luv ya! ❤️💕❤️😊🙏
Thank you!! I appreciate all that info too. They were not very careful when they poured the porch. It’s stained with red dirt and there are boot imprints in it too..🙄. I definitely want to paint or stain the concrete for sure. I just love flowers. The amaryllis are so beautiful and I cannot wait for my Lily of the Nile to start blooming. ☺️🌸💕🌺☀️🌿

Good morning Donna. Your porch decor is fabulous and I absolutely love your outfit! Just a suggestion but I had trouble with our cement pad and used CLR and it was great for removing the stains I couldn't get off with power washer, I poured it on and let it sit about 30 minutes and power washed again and I couldn't believe it was like new again.
Good morning!!! Thank you!!! I actually have so CLR. I need to try that. Part of our issue is they did a poor job when they poured the porch. It is stained with red dirt and there are several boot prints in it… CLR might help with some of the other stubborn stains. ☺️

I watch all my Southern RUclips friends with all that pollen and mold and it makes me appreciate my 120° days here in AZ! HA!! Have you ever traveled to a tropical place that had germs growing naturally? They get huge…TFI 🌴🌵🌿
We have so much heat and humidity here… that’s why we LOVE any bit of cool and crispness we get. I’ve never traveled anywhere tropical. I get enough of the heat here…😂

Love your urn. I have one that looks just like those 2. I am horrible about wetting my plants. So this year I stuck 2 artificial fern picks from Hobby Lobby in mine. It looks really good. I have used artificial ferns on my front porch for years. Lol.

Try powered dish washer detergent to clean the porch cleans concrete really well and doesn’t make a lot of soap to rinse off Just a thought it worked for me on the garage floor that had a lot of stains

Your porches look lovely. I’m so ready for spring myself now you’ve got me wanting to clean up my front entryway table needs cleaning chair needs cleaning. Just FYI, bleach does not kill mold. It takes the stains away, but it doesn’t kill it. Vinegar will kill mold, and then you can use a stain remover.

Love that you shared cleaning the porch, mine is the same way! And this is funny…I asked my husband for a pressure washer for Christmas last year so I can clean whatever I want to!😂 I was so excited to get my very own pressure washer!!

Girl you’re on it. I still need to pressure spray and decorate our porch. I am trying to wait until all the yellow pollen comes and goes so I don’t have to redo it. Everything looks so beautiful. Thank you!! Those pls ya by the back door are my hibiscus plants they are a deep reddish color. They didn’t freeze this past winter. I’m so excited for them to start blooming. ☺️🌺

Donna your porches look great! I have been trying to figure out what to do with my grandparents dipper.. I will hang mine on my bucket too! Getting g my ferns this weekend for Sunday. All the family coming after church for lunch and egg hunt. Making Teriyaki pineapple chicken the kids are bringing the sides. Also Making a key lime cake. 11 adults and 9 kids. Happy Easter.

You need to attach a surface cleaner attachment to your pressure washer, it will make cleaning so much easier

@@DelightfullySouthern please google surface cleaner attachments for pressure washers. They will make your walkways, driveway and garage look new. If you decide to purchase one, please read the reviews before purchasing and make sure it’s compatible with your pressure washer

Love both porches and the decor I,m behind again lol my oldest daughter is on her way back to Wva from Mississippi her dad went to pick her up and I’ve got to meet him to get her here in a little while her husband filed for divorce and she doesn’t drive she’s the disabled one so I’ve been busy last few days

Stain your porch. Concrete stain is great. I have my pool deck, patio, porch and garages done.
