At some time when life regains some form of normalcy, this Revue of The Excellence of Barbadian Talent needs to be presented live locally and then taken beyond these shores........congrats and well done to each and everyone involved and kudos to Nicholas for having the inspiration and amazing talent to put this together.......once more, wonderful performances each and everyone!
This is a Classic event. 🇧🇧 The best we have to offer. Competitive any part of the world. Congratulations on this presentation and blessings from God who gave the gift. May you continue to get and share the blessings.🙏🏾🇧🇧
Am never at a loss for words, but OMG can't describe how emotional this incredible rendition of "Emmerton" has me feeling ... Wow and double Wow!!! 🙏 🙏
I watched this only today it was raining cloudy outside when it commenced, here on the BC West Coast, as it is concluding the sun is breaking through. Nicholas and team, I am so proud of you all. The best of Barbados under the leadership of a fellow HC colleague and friend. Definitely one of the most talented Barbadian musicians. Uplifting and inspiring!!!
The Easter Sunday Concert was a most memorable one and an outstanding performance by Barbadian artists. Kudos to Mr. Nicholas . I am now listening to it for a second time. I am a descendent of of 3 Barbadian grandparents. I live in Panama, Republic of Panama. I shared the concert with more than 25 contacts. The feedback has been very positive. Blessings to the organizer and every person responsible for such a wonderful concert. Thanks to the Bishop at the St Michael Cathedral.
An absolutely beautiful concert that should be seen by all. I will look at it many times. Thanks Nicholas for putting together so many talented musicians and singers.
Congratulations to Nicholas Branker and his band if fine musicians and all guest performers. Excellent show. God continue to bless you all and thanks for sharing these music with me and family.🇧🇧👍😊
AWESOME NICHOLAS MUSIC IS NEEDED IN THIS COVID TIME. OH WHAT A SETTING. I GOT GOOSE BUMPS. SO VERY VERY PROUD OF YOU NICHOLAS AND YOUR BAND. AUNTY HAZEL ANTIGUA
Nicholas is definitely one of, if not the best musician/arranger the Caribbean has ever seen. Normally one does not comment on his abilities. This time though, it has to be said, he wrote his name musically everywhere in that Cathedral.
This was just an awesome and refreshing experience....I so loved the arrangements. Well done 👏 Nicholas and company....an overall wonderful production!
Mr. Nicholas Brancker of the anointed fingers and vision, Uplift aired Easter Sunday night on CBC TV soared high above its name. The music, arrangement, performance, and broadcast were of international standard in its variety, appropriateness, flawless delivery, and sheer beauty. From the glass-smooth texture of your masterful translation of Fur Elise to the splendid grittiness of Allison’s His Eye is on the Sparrow, from the sweet, sweet falsetto of My Country to Me by Alix Cage to Edwin’s palpable passion in the two-for-one Bridge Over Troubled Water and Something Greater than Me, from the riveting opening number and the spirit-awakening hymns in between to the very last serving: spectacular! And, Lord have mercy, the steel pan, and the brass, the brass, the brass. Someone with impaired vision could believe there was a full orchestra of world renown in the wings. Super proud of Jelani. This entire experience was one of my best Easter presents ever. And to think this superb quality was produced during the COVID-19 pandemic! If I do a full review, we’ll still be here at Christmas. And speaking of Christmas, Mr. Brancker, when do rehearsals start? Blessings all Angela Herbert
I enjoyed the show! The last tune though..that arrangment was LIFE !!!!! Congrats to you and your team. Love the inclusion of the children. That was a really special touch!
Nikita??????? Deep, Deep, made me think of every difficult experience I overcame in life, Made me feel really blessed in life. New & nuff respect for her vocal abilities.
Nicholas, Janice is smiling down proudly at her star student. Maestro, a gathering with you, Maestro Miles, Kweku, your brass section, Nikita Vaughn, JJ Proutte, Nikita Herbert, and Axil Cage would, I think, meet Miss Millington's approval. Do you? The selections, My Country, and Prelude in C minor fused with Beautiful Barbados would launch Bim's music internationally--NYC Summer Stage, London, Toronto beckons you, Maestro!
The arrangement for Pan in A minor?????? Well that's an entirely different level of music. There is no description for how that was done. Kitch would hear that and be totally amazed. So far for 2021, that's my cake and icing with an Xtra Old and Ginger ale to sip on. An Angel had to drop that on NIcholas's pillow,
Ms. Nikita, you sound like Ms. Yolanda Adams. You have great great talent. i hope Our Rihanna is watching and listening, and she reachout to some of her Native artists and help them.Let us Break the Cycle Everyman for himself and God for us all. This is a selfish Behavior.Love all fellow Barbadians. May God continue to Bless us all.Thank you.
We, verily, have made music as a ladder for your souls, a means whereby they may be lifted up unto the realm on high.. Baha'i Faith, Bahá’u’lláh, Kitáb-i-Aqdas, Para. 51
If i could be a critic,Irie sounded great as i can see he is in a health battle,he is a great person.Plastic Bag should keep singing two word songs to stay in key,and none gave the sound engineer a round of applause.
Wow!!! Such amazing musicians!!! Absolutely beautiful music!!! God's blessings to all!!!
