This is the absolutely the best series of golf instruction videos on RUclips. Thanks a lot Bobby and keep up the good work making the golf swing easier to understand and perform. In one week after following your tips I have hit the most solid iron shots in years. Still fighting a hard draw and sometimes hard hook with my driver but it is just going to take some time.
To my knowledge, you are the only teacher, who really stresses the importance of the power in the arms in the downswing, left shoulder going up instead of forward etc. with Nicklaus and Sergio as the perfect examples. Most teachers emphasize the body pulling the arms etc. (which does not work for me). I would really like to take your one day clinic, but it is a long way from Paris/France to Virginia !:-)
Bobbi, what if you just let your hips dictate the golf swing. For example just think of the right hip starting the back swing by going back and toward the left foot on back swing and left hip starting the down swing by going back and toward the right heel. Just let arms go along for the ride? I would think that would keep your head from going off side?
Anything is possible. Back in the 70's there were players that would slide and then snap their hips at the last second. Problem was they would get a reverse "C" and in many cases had back problems. i.e. Johnny Miller
This is my first Bobby Lopez video. It will not be my last. Now that is how to get a clear message across with some personality. Lovely.

👍👍👍👍nice video
Thanks Robert!
Is the "feet together" drill or "right leg back" drill good for this feel of rotating, not sliding? Thanks!!!
Yes!
Thanks, good drill is to just put up posts at your hips and swing inside those sticks.
MR. Lopez can you touch on a sigel plane swing like moe norman vs the 2 o'clock drill
Is it OK, to initiate the downswing with a slight bump forward, then rotate around the front leg?
Hi Bobby I have a bad back and I am told this is caused by my turning my hips before shifting my weight. Is this true? Blaine McDonald
Bobby, are you saying it's tough to both slide and rotate at the same time? ;)
