I have lodlved your videos and all you covers. What I used to love about it is that I could see a person on the uke who is playing it fabulously while singing in such an amazing way, someone who is lost in that moment and it's all so authentic. I find that lacking in this video

This is why your amazing. I play ukulele and although your a frick ton better at it then me (EVEN THOUGHH I LEARNED IN HAWAII LIKE WTF SALEM GET WITH IT YA IDIOT) I would love it if you gave me some tips because I don’t know how to memorize. It’s so hard!! Also how do you pick while singing?! I can’t seem to figure it out on guitar or ukulele. It’s so frustrating! AMAIZNG as always! Also your so pretty and always so happy. Your music always brightens my day, and I’m not having the best ones recently. My twin..😔 anyways, but yeah. Please tips would be so helpful and it would be an HONOR to get them from you!!
Salem The ukulele tbh Im also a beginner but I know a few tips:
-if you cant sing while strumming, focus on which ones harder. Practice and practice (yes, everyone always says this-because it effective.). Once you’re used to it and know it by heart, you can start strumming and singing.
-take it slow. Rushing things wont get you anywhere. Start with major chords (A, C, G, etc) and go down.
-be passionate. If you dont wanna do it, you’ll turn lazy. Think of a song you really like and would really like to play.
Ik these are horrible tips, but I’d really like to help 🤷♀️
