    Those pom-poms brings back memories. We use to do them when we were younger but on a smaller scale. Love all the decorations for your daughter's birthday. Thanks for sharing those with us.

    Your daughter is going to love these decorations! They are so cute and pretty, make sure you take tons of photos and video it, our daughter is 18 and loves to see all her parties from her first up, and see all the changes in the house and with family members, their fashion and how we dressed her. She just laughs and laughs, and it swells your heart with pride, now that she is able to look back and see what we did. tfs

    These are super simple to make and you can use as little or as many layers as you want. I used many layers because these were really big ones. I loved how they came out.

    Made these for my 30th birthday party and everyone loved them... now they all want to know how to make them, so I send them this video. For those on a budget, you can get all the supplies (wire, ribbon, tissue paper) at the Dollarstore. We got packs of 20 sheets for $1, did about 8 sheets per pop-pop, cut the sheets in have and got about 5-6 (depending on size) pop-popms out of each back of paper.

    You crack me up girl! Perfection is why it takes me a week to make one card! LOL! So I understand :-) Anyway, I bought these kits too but I was so overwhelmed last year that I saved them for this year when my daughter turns 4 in August. You are going to have so much fun and when she is old enough she will so appreciate all your hard work and love! Hope the party will be a success and you can breathe a sigh of relief at the end of the day! TFS,
    Hugs,
    Brigitte

    If you follow the steps in the video correctly, you should get a round one very time. Once you do the accordion fold remember you need to tie it in the center and open the accordion fold again. Watch the vid again and you might catch a step you missed. Hope you can do it!. Thanks for watching!

    You can buy it at any craft store. You can use regular paper, but the pompom will be really stiff and might not look the same. People have used stiff fabric too, to make these.

    I believe I got the kit at my local Joann's Fabrics. They have a Martha Stewart Section. YOu can sometimes find Martha Stewart products at Marshalls, TJMaxx, Home Goods and or Big Lots :)
    I haven't seen the kits in many places though. It's been quite a while since I got them.

  • @smscrapper
    @smscrapper  13 лет назад

    @scrappinmakesfriends They were from a kit by Martha Stewart, but you can create a similar effect using paper bags I'm sure because that's how the papers looked when I put it together.

    @TracysTreasures24 You create your own playlists (on the "my videos" section) and every time you make a video, you put them on the playlist you want.This way, all your videos are categorized----I just did this like a week ago because I didnt know how to do it myself, but it's really simple once you go on to your account settings. After you create you playlists, you make sure you set it up so your main channel page shows all your playlists, not only your uploads.That you check on display settings

    It depends on how fluffy thick you want them. The more layers, the thicker the pom pom will be. It's really up to you. I used a ton of layers. But the more layers, the more work and paper too. i think I used 12 layers.

  • @smscrapper
