The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is among the BEST! Their productions lack NOTHING! They are truly masterpieces one after the other. As I have looked through only the few that posted on RUclips, I see so many famous singers and beautiful productions where they spare nothing on beauty. Enjoy them and do not drag your attitudes into their magnificent productions.
Agreed ! I'm 60 now and I can't remember a Christmas gone by that my family ( Protestants, Presbyterians, Catholics, an Atheist and a Druid even) hasn't had Tennessee Ernie Ford and/or the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing God's Praises from Thanksgiving until New Years Eve.
Every year the Tabernacle Choir organization does such an outstanding job with their free Christmas celbrations. These Christmas gifts to the community each year are truly SPECTACULAR! This concert with the Dickens story and John Rhys-Davies remains one of my favorites though. Beautiful, beautiful job all involved!
That was so good. I enjoyed it very much. I am a older widow and almost all my immediate family are gone except my son and daughter in law that I live with because of my health I can't live by myself. In the last few years just can't get in the Christmas Spirit anymore like I use too. I have always loved Christmas time each year But this helped me get back in the Christmas Spirit again Thank You SO Much, Cassie❤
Excellent! Always loved John Rhys-Davies' voice and especially his role as Mordecai in 'One Night with The King'. Brillaint production and getting them up in the air. Wow!
Wish someone would upload more of these from past years and those going forward...,such beautiful productions from music ,to costume,choreography,and lighting. Just so awe inspiring.
Outstanding. I need to get copies of this for some churches, private schools, clubs and home school organizations to share. Far to many things I have donated disappeared from the "public" library.
what's happened to the choir? Their vocal quality is really mediocre. They have become very commercial and have left behind their better quality singing. It is now a kind of pop choir. They seem to want a very average sound not based on good singing fundamentals. Very sad to hear this.
mlcollins10 im sorry but which parts are commercial ? The only parts I can tell is the fact that there is a actor but they only invited him and the music is better than most of what is counted as music these days...

No, not a Mormon, but am a member of the Las Vegas Master Singers and have great respect for a Choral presentation well done.
