Everything was good, but next time you need to show up the main thing, the connection....
i need friends that can teach me about this stuff. honestly, would love to work on my own car
Feel free to hmu on IG for any help @swaveymike_
How did you install the lights into the bumper without removing it??
That looks amazing 😏 Guess I’ll have to do this on my charger. Thank you!
Clean install came out hella good👍
so they are on 24 hourw a day as that stud you show is live all time, great work ..
Runs off Bluetooth app so only on when you turn it on through the app
Good video bro!!! You can come to California and install mines.......🤣🤣🤣🤣. Keep the vids coming Fam!!!!
Mango_392 might make a trip down this summer 💯
Let me know. I’m planning on making a trip to NC as well.....👍🏾👍🏾
The first time I touched the positive terminal cover on my challenger srt 16 it broke off just like in your video.
Same thing happened on my Chrysler 300!
Nice job.. Gonna do this to mine..
Did you manage to install the lights for the grille without removing the bumper?
Awesome wrk
How did u wire the lights?
That’s exactly how to do it
Yeheee gonna to it on my subi hopefully cops cops won't find out
Hi, I'm thinking about this for my 21 Elantra and I like the idea of using the interior lights because they are cheaper for a similar effect. I do have some questions though, if you don't might helping me understand this a bit better. It has been more than a year and a half, how are they holding up? When you connect them to the battery like that (which is what I assumed you did, cause I didn't see you connect it), do the lights come on anytime the battery is on? If you are inside the car, can you still use the remote to control the lights or is the connection too far away?
They’ve still held up .. I connected it to the fuse box positive post and just grounded it on a bolt in the engine bay.. it’s Bluetooth powered so you have an app and turn on and off when you want to .. it reaches a pretty far distance before you lose signal
@@swaveyymike thanks. this really helps me. This weekend I am putting a set into my car and maybe next month I'll put this into my grill. The Elantra has a really neat honeycomb grill that I think is more popular, but I had never noticed before. Again, thank you for the help.
@@elizabethworley7073 no problem lmk how it turns out 👍🏾
@@swaveyymike so even the "inside lights" are waterproof.
@@Turnerbenjamin82 yes surprisingly .. haven’t had issues they still work to this day 🤙🏽
💜💜💜
Dope AF !!!
The link to the kit doesnt work anymore. What brand is it so i can look it up ?
Did the engine heat burn up the wires?
No it hasn’t haven’t had issues
Did u take off the hole grill?
How does this hold up with car washes and rain? I'm sure getting the car washed that water gets in the grill
Haven’t had any issues with it.. still holding up 👍🏽
Fye🔥🔥
Also when you turn on the car they come on and when you turn off the car the go off right or do you have to turn them on/off through the app?
Victor Bonfil everything is powered by Bluetooth app nothing turns on unless I want them or turn on/off
Great video and it looks awesome. Can you tell me what fuse you used for power?
Trying to attempt to install the same lights you have on my Hellcat. Can you please tell me how you hardwire the switch inside the engine bay?
Where the fuse box is the positive post and then ground it anywhere tbh
@@swaveyymike I did that, and the lights stay on all the time. Do I need to also connect the switch that came with cigarette lighter and how do I connect that switch? What wires
@@atxhellcat2170 if you watch the video I spliced and didn’t use original power source.. it’s Bluetooth controlled so you turn on and off with app
@@swaveyymike Yes that’s the way I have it. Red wire to positive like you did it and grounded on chassis. Lights stay on and can’t controlled from app. Really odd. By the way thanks for your reply and help. Melvin
How did you wire it up to the fuse box?
Muscle Mind Connection I took apart the original 12v power source and hard wired it in the engine bay positive near the fuse box and just grounded it
@@swaveyymike good lookn out fam. Thanks for responding too!
Can you somehow show me where to ground the wires and connect them please
NC😈💪🏾
Did you connect both black & red cable to the positive on the battery ?
Positive to positive post near fuse box and grounded it pretty much anywhere
How you connect wires to turn it onnn
Black cable ground to any bolt in engine bay and red cable positive connect to positive post beside fuse box.. it’s Bluetooth controlled within an app and you can power on/off and change colors
@@swaveyymike on/off from app?
And where did ypu get this from bro?
@@jassmeet4187 yes app controlled .. it has other features and effects too .. check the description I listed it there 👍🏽
@@swaveyymike thanks bro
This shit is fire 🔥 I don't understand the dislike tho smh
Haters 🤷🏽♂️
Facts ... im pretty new to this kind of stuff but u inspired me to wanna do it ..I'm still tryna figure how u connect it to the battery or wherever ?
@@juvymessii2765 positive goes next to the fuse box you’ll see a cap and then you can ground it anywhere
How do you turn them off and on since you removed the switch?
Mario Jr. it’s powered via Bluetooth app comes with a Bluetooth control box that’s mounted in the engine bay
You can can turn them off with the Bluetooth app? I don’t want them to drain my battery!
Mario Jr. yeah and I leave them on for hours doesn’t drain battery at all
What are the actual engine light that you talked about?
How u plug the black and red wire? To the terminals
Ground it to any bolt and positive next to fuse box the positive post
@@swaveyymike black to ground? Red to positive terminal? Or which
@@dannydnice1 red is typically positive
I know I’m late but where did you put the ground wire I’m sure you put power to under red nut correct
Fuse box
What fuse did you wrap red wire around
@MrVocal_ I just hooked it up to the red positive post by fuse box
Looks good. Mind checking my car out I have a video on my channel.
Have they been holding up pretty good? I know it’s only been a couple months.
Holding up pretty well no issues
@@swaveyymike still holding up? 9 months later
@@tizzle337 yup no issues
Where do you wire the lights into?
Positive right beside the fuse box and ground just any bolt in the engine bay
@@swaveyymike does that drain your battery? Or does the lights come with remote to power on and off?
@apacolypz11 i haven’t had any issues and it’s Bluetooth controlled via an app
How did u connect it to the battery?. Only on the red side or both? Red to red black to black?.
Connected to positive post beside fuse box red and black to a bolt .. can pretty much ground any where to any bolt
@@swaveyymike love you bro❤
Just sp u know thanks to you i did mine yesterday 💪🏻 thanks for your help brother.
@@_rtmafia5745 awesome glad i could help 🤟🏽
Where exactly did you connect the wires for power?
Engine bay.. fuse box
@@swaveyymike did you use a fuse tap? Which fuse did you use?
@@badboyblue5128 no I did not.. just grounded it and hooked up to the positive post
No way of shutting off during the day
It’s Bluetooth powered you turn on/off with app
Incomplete tutorial. Did you do it? Or you ask someone to set the wires?
I did it myself and yes didn’t mention how I wired it but it’s grounded pretty much anywhere in engine bay and positive to the positive post beside fuse box
Lmao Mike good video, but I think next time to some of the people who don't know electrical terms, you might want to use wire colors when explaining how you wired something. Red wire to the red positive next to the fuse box and the black wire to anything metal in the engine same thing as if you had to jump someone's car.
Hell yes bro!!! Just subscribed!!! I need to do this!!! Be sure to subscribe to my channel too bro💪🏾🔥🎨
ahat you connect da lights to
How did you get the lights in the bumper without removing it?!
Where the hood latch is I forced my arm in there I did get a lot of scratches and stuck a few times but it was worth it for not taking off the bumper 😆 and then it’s just 3m taped under and zip tied
Damn dude. I tried for sure but I couldn’t do it! I got mine just at the radiator on the top of the grille for now. Will probably take that bumper off in the future
@@ithenkalot1 yeah I got two strips on top grill and other two on the hood vent
