This is my guitar playthrough cover of the song "Обезьянка ноль" by the band . In this video I am using an LTD H401-FM plugged into a Digitech RP500 with additional cabinet simulation from Guitar Rig 5. I also did double-tracking and parallel recording to get a better audio quality.
Filmed with a Sony HDR-CX220E and edited in Sony Vegas Pro 13.0.

Thank you. Which effect are you referring to? I used a clean tone with a bit of overdrive for the verses and another tone with distortion for the choruses.
@@mikeKidLazy yes the effects that you used for this song. For example how much of every one? I mean the levels in each case. And also what pedals are you using here?
I honestly don't remember much of what I did there because this cover is from like 2015, but I used a Digitech RP500 multi-effects pedal which pretty much did the trick. So for the verses I used a clean amp setting with a little overdrive (not too much, but just enough to give the sound a bit of "harshness". Now it also depends a lot on the overdrive effect that you want to add - some "provide" a more distorted sound than others, but I'd say you could start with the gain level at around 30-40% and tweak it from there) and also some reverb (here I believe a plate type of reverb at about 50% level could do the trick. Obviously you can increase or decrease the reverb level to your liking). As for the distorted tone, I used an amp model on the distorted channel. Now, like I said, I don't remember what was the exact model I used but in general I start by setting the gain at about 30-40% maximum. If I want a bit of extra "boost" I can add another distortion pedal/effect on top of that with the gain set to 0 and the level to 100%, it makes a huge difference (it makes it sound slightly more distorted and aggressive) but it doesn't make the sound too muddy. And this is something that I do for almost all of my distorted tones. In general, turning the gain up to eleven does not mean you'll get a better sound. Not sure if this is of any help to you but if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to write me.

А кто сказал, что техника обязательна? Сам их гитарист в концертах играл эту песню более-менее как и я. Плюс ко всему, я просто так почувствовала песню, просто так хотелось её сыграть. По-моему эмоции можно иногда выражать и без особой техники, типа "less is more". Но, как уже было сказано, не нравится мой кавер, ничего, тогда сам играй эту песню, я не обижусь.
