Jan/20 there was noises in the engine... long story short the engine was shot...thank God for bumper to bumper transferable warranty.... my local dealership was awesome... i just got it back after 2 months waiting for new engine block etc etc... the car is perfect again... and now i have 0 KLMS on the engine... they are an amazing car overall...so quiet/fast/ comfortable...just bad luck for the engine.... i'm sure ill have it for years to come...highly recommend... i am is sarnia ontario canada
I have a 2017 MKZ Reserve bought used in 2022 with 35k miles. 2 years later still runs great. I drove it all over the country (PA-->TX-->AZ) back and forth and now I'm at 77k miles. I had a check engine light a few weeks ago after a long road trip ( I think I got bad gas somewhere in west TX) but that engine light has since went away and never came back. I thought I might miss my BMW but I really love this Lincoln and I'm so sad they stopped producing sedans. (check engine light code was P0303 for engine misfire on cylinder 3 for anyone who was curious)
I bought the 2018 Lincoln MKZ Reserve AWD 2.0. It’s 248 horsepower with 278 pound feet of Torque. It has 15,328 miles on the odometer. It’s Ruby Red Metallic & has a moonroof. I traded my 2011 Lincoln MKZ V6. It was gray. For a 4 cylinder engine it has tremendous power to it. It pinned me in my seat when I realized I was in the wrong lane. I needed to cross quickly in order to make my exit. It has all of this safety equipment that I have enjoyed. My main problem is the battery died. I bought a new one. It still isn’t working. Unfortunately, I live in an apartment complex & there’s no garage for me to keep my car. I’ve never had garage parking. When the car is running as it should it’s incredible. I live in a snow belt region. We didn’t have a snowy winter. We’ve had a lot of rain & wind gusts up to 40 plus mph. I live in the North East of Pennsylvania. I’m handicapped but the complex put up a Handicap Spot for me to park. I’m hoping I won’t have to jump start my car. No, this car is NOT a Ford Fusion. I love it has 2 parking modes too. I seriously hope Lincoln brings back the MKZ. ❤❤❤❤

Just got this same car, CPO, 31995 w/18,400 miles on it. I love it! Mine has the tech package, though, and my birthday was yesterday. Couldn't have been a better way to celebrate the birthday!

@@nikkilav824 I still do have it! Best decision I’ve ever made! It’s never had any issues. I use 93 octane and she runs so smoothly. I don’t have a problem with my speakers at all! Just make sure to get the revel audio system. You’ll be pleasantly surprised. Has great highs and miss =)
People are never happy aren't they lol i think this car is amazing its a huge upgrade from the previous weird wings on the front and now its just perfect and complete from front to back! I was obsessed with german cars and never imagined i would own an American car...i dont have any regrets switching as a german car for that price comes empty inside and you pay a huge price just for the name...i got this car fully loaded with everything i couldn't afford on the german car and believe it drives just as good it is luxury and sporty at the same time! American cars are getting better and better !

Oh man! SO much nicer than the previous years. I loved the back end on the previous years, but the front end I thought was hideous. I mean they're fairly loaded, but it didn't seem like it had many more premium options than what you'd find in a top trim Focus/Fusion/Taurus. This though... WOW! The back I think needed a facelift to match the beauty of the front. If they could do that styling with the front of the Navigator, that WILL be my next vehicle. The mirror thing is awesome. I mean I've developed a habit of opening/closing my mirrors (with the button) when I park my Expedition, but to have it automatic like that would be so nice!
It's a real American Made Product it's a great car that I just brought myself. It has so much to offer in a very comfortable smooth riding automobile that have real working features. Before you buy another auto take a test drive of the 2017 it's great. The only thing it need a little more power in sound system at least 400 watts RMS. But my plans to put in a sub bass 200 watts in the car but the sound system is very clean in sound now. I gave up a 2014 Camaro SS Convertible for this car and I don't feel sorry about that at all. Superficial comment here guys, but I need for this car to be head and shoulders above the Fusion. I think this is what has held the mkz back for so long. The fusion is so great its difficult to justify buying this for any reason other than looks. Acura has this same problem.
its a luxury brand... you buy luxury things for the luxury aspect. buy a fusion if you dont want luxury. get a walmart suit if you dont want Anthony Sinclair.
Just because it's on the same chassis and has some of the same parts it's definitely not a fusion. I test drove the fusion and the fusion sport. They were okay but I couldn't justify the price of one. Especially with the HORRIBLE sound system installed in it. Sony is great for some muddy bass and if you try to turn it down to balance the sound you get no bass at all. The moment I sat in an MKZ black label to listen to the sound system I knew I had found my car. The 3.0L TT with the Drivers package (Focus RS Drivetrain) is way better than the Fusion sports 2.7L. It's a way better car inside and out my dude. Mine arrives in June and I can't freaking WAIT!!
You never experienced the MKZ, because if you have. You would see how much more premium this is compared to the Fusion. And shared platforms mean nothing, it’s about the end result.
lincoln new signature grille designs are nice. I'm not so sure about push button automatic transmissions and front wheel drive layouts,but it's nice overall. bring back the Town Car
We bought an Infiniti Q 50 nice car LOUSY gas mileage.We were filling up the tank every 3 days?Our 2013 Lincoln MKZ goes a week and a half without a complete fill up at the same distance.
Of course you can and thats the first thing i did on mine ,the only thing you can't turn off is the beeps when you keep the engine on and leave the car it beeps kinda loud and there is nothing you can do unfortunately it is the law now to remind people that the engine is still running as many people used to forget to turn off the engine and left it on at the garage causing even death in some cases ..

And you can bet that as all American cars, they will come with the standard, reliability issues, and breakdowns. For that money, i'd go volvo, they offer more in terms driving experience.
2.0 turbo has 240 hp and 3.0 twin turbo has 400hp making it the fastest Lincoln ever. I personally got this one in 2.0 t awd and after nissan altima 3.5 v6 i honestly can't even tell the big difference !
Yeah that’s what Lincoln trying capture kinda but give it a more Luxury look. Lincoln also is trying to attract younger drivers to look into there vehicles and why give a Sportier look with the ‘17.
The gauges and switchgear off the main dash appear inexpensive and ordinary. If Lincoln and Cadillac didn't cut corners and charged an extra 2K for the same car with a digital gauge cluster and finer switches, I'd buy their cars. Until then, I'll stick with their German competitors.

It felt nothing like a Ford Escape at all. Sure it uses the same platform but it's a good idea but its a good handing, reputable platform to start on. Same reason why the new chevy comaro uses the new Cadillac ATS platform.

That centre console looks so ugly and cheap. BMW, Audi, Merc and Jag dashes are waybetter as are the infotainment systems. Also the engines are poor in economy and the Europeans are sure to have a better drive.
