Just a question did you try the shoes on clay court where you can slide like the red type we have in europe? or only the bad ones from the us where it is not really possible to slide?
Bought BShield Torneo for a hard surface thanks to your review. My feet are singing you praises every time I put them on. I guess it's time to pick a new pair for a clay court as well. They look kickass in a white paint job but man... so impractical for a clay!
The asics is the go to shoe here were I live. If I have seen 5 different shoes, is too much. I’ve always played with it, now it is hurting my feet a lot. I feel that it is too hard on the inside of my feet. But I like the grip. What shoe would fill in the gap of more confort but still a lot of grip?

I usually use 44 in Nike. I also have a pair of Nike Zoom vapor Pro 2. Like them too yet they are a little wide too... the old favorite Vapor Pro was spot on :-)
Hi Zach, have you ever tried the Joma shoes in Clay version? Here in Spain, there is a lot of tradition of playing with Joma because it is a Spanish brand, and also tradition of playing on clay. I think that Joma mus have a knowledge in clay shoe. Thank you very much for your videos.

I liked the 300's as the 100's are great for HC but are a bit stiff on clay when you're trying to feel the surface - I don't really see a different in terms of shoe performance in men v women for tennis shoes tbh
@@FootDoctorZach just regular over the counter insoles like the Superfeet Green. Use for tennis and Padel. History of Achilles tendinitis and wondering if better to use the shoes as they come or with insoles.
@@FootDoctorZach yep, they feel awesome and they grip very well. I'm in Europe, so 99% of courts are clay. I also use over the counter inserts for arch support which act almost like a top loaded shank.

@@dunsdonjone1537 it does because cyber sonic he says it’s light but it’s a very heavy shoe…same goes for Lacoste…so you can be faster with much more weight. He failed to say that barricade 2021 was actually HEAVY and even heavier the soul court boost…and I spent money on those and threw them away because it’s so heavy (but very good reviews) and I was so slow on them…even specialised tennis stores told me forgot barricade it’s too heavy. So yes it makes a lot of sense…
How does forefoot volume compare to the asics GR9? I have a wider forefoot but standard / narrower ankle. Mirage 100 clay are way to narrow; 300 clay are sold out everywhere! My only choices are the On Roger Clay or GR9. The On’s have a terrible longevity reputation.
Canada ten isn't a clay court. Clay court to me are gravel courts only. Canada ten isn't even being used in Europe anymore. It like looking back at the 80's

Great that you mentioned that not all clay conditions are equal. Moisture, maintenance, grooming etc. can have a big impact on conditions.

Less plush midsole but still very comfortable. Less maximalist than the Enforce

@@aaronmorgan8864 …rubber on tennis shoes are a harder compound than basketball shoes. You can try them, but quick moves could roll your ankle.
