@ReinNyrein I remember before SNSD debuted, it stated that Jessica and Tiffany (birth name Stephanie) where both born in the USA (California) and when audition , they moved to Korea to be apart of SNSD. I believe its listed in their biography. I hope that helps :D
IU's version is lighter and huskier while Jessica's version is more poignant and her pronunciation is better. IU's version felt like it's a young girl asking her first love to kiss her, while Jessica's version is like a girl asking her boyfriend to kiss her. ^^
I prefer Jessica's version over all of the other ones. Even the original. Not that I have anything against for example IU, I really love her too, but I feel like this song suits Jessica much better. I just love this.

Sica has a sweet voice while IU had a more, lower yet sweet voice. IU didn't pronounce certain words properly while Sica did (which is a duh cos she's from cali) Other than pronounciation, voice didn't had much of a difference, both are unique. So now, PEACE.
