I'm glad to see that lots of people are moving to Lethbridge. My parents are selling their home soon, so I hope it'll move fast for them.

We are planning to move to Lethbridge from the west coast BC when we retire in a few years. Cost of living here is out of control.

Have been thinking on Lethbridge ... reading all the forums on Lethbridge and everyone says it is great place to live if you can stand the smell, noting it is horrible. The comments are common across all forums and don't know if we could really handle that. Are the forums all correct??

    • @kurtishawkins

No they are not correct. Certain times of year, you will get a smell from the agriculture around the city, but it will only last a day or two. Some areas are better than others. 99% of the time there is no such smell…

Yes, every other week you definitely get the smell from the agriculture operations near the city. But it isn't horrible, but I work in the agriculture industry, thus I might be used to that smell.

There is quite a difference in 99% no smell and yes you get it every other week. I went through every Reddit post and very few said was good place to live.
I think I can tolerate the 2 week rotatins of cowshit a lot easier than the overcast weather in BC. Appreciate you noting that.
I need the sunshine. Also had enough of BC government and environmental BS. Time to get away from the big cities before the dollar collapses, banks close and we cannot sell by spring.
