The brown boxed edition of Blood Bowl 1st edtion is the first printing version of the first edition, The red box boxed edition of Blood Bowl 1st edtion is the second printing of the first edition and the one you will most likely see out in the wilds.
Yeah! Space Hulk 1st edition is a masterpiece and the game can be cooperatively and solo, without its influence there would be no Space Crusade or Legions of steel 1st edition. But you are totally correct, Space Crusade stands out on it own as a unique playing experience, I guess it's closer to Heroquest in design then Space Hulk, The Eldar attack expansion for Space Crusade is great, if you can find it at a reasonable price.
I believe the different box cover art relates to the different regions of the world Space Crusade was released in, uk/europe box covers are the version you have in your possession, the other version box art with the close up of the space marine was released in countries outside of europe, In australia we got the alternate version box art "with the close up of the space marine" though I personally prefer the european release box art, other then the box art the game versions are identical.
I had Legend of zagor in my collection but I sold it off, I really didn't like it, the game is near unplayable with very little actual game mechanics to speak of, the miniatures that come with the game are cool, everything else about it, not good, I'm glad it's gone from my collection, good riddance.
