I've always loved the nature-documentary style gameplay, where you really feel like the creature. It just gives it more life and has always been neat to me. I've played a plethora of Semi-Realisms, Expreme Realisms, and No-Ruled servers; yet none of them give off this feeling.
Try playing mesozoic era rp realism, the trexes are very similar to this playstyle and everybody plays the realism properly!
Yesterday i was in a giant iggy herd and we travelled across the land and stanpeded away from like every carnivore imaginable as iggy is a wuss
In the server u also gotta follow sleep schedules so at night iggy rests and so do rex n stuff
Maips have a really funky timeschedule cuz they op af
But yeah i reccomend it, it gives off this vibe

There are realism servers you can play but really with how intense the rules are it can be off putting at times. I personally play on a semi realism and plan to try going to PTs realism but idk how good I'll do or if I'll have fun

@@Vanny1980 Yup, that's why I think we need more singleplayer dinosaur games so interactions can be hard-coded in. Imagine if Saurian didn't flop because some member of their team decided to steal the money.
Glad they confirmed AI dinos, hopefully they won't be all goofy and you'll be able to set a specific type of behavior to them.

This is the kind of variation I love in a realism server. Generally in most species, males are the more aggressive and territorial of the two sexes. But there's sometimes exceptions. I like to see servers displaying exceptions like that. That bit of randomness just makes it feel so much more realistic than if you just assume every animal fits the rule and never breaks it.

This video was awesome, the JWE2 music fit really well, but, I assumed that was a younger male trying to impress an older female, am I wrong? Because fully grown tyrannosaur males would be bulkier, and larger than the females, (I used to think females were larger, during my research on them before I became a retired paleontologist)

I do like the design, but my only problem is the baby models. There’s a shrunk down lazy versions of their parents just with some different features. Apparently you haven’t watched prehistoric planet, or even looked at a single image of what an actual baby T-Rex looks like nowadays. Juveniles and adolescence weren’t shrunk down versions of their parents. They were much more agile and frail than their adult counterparts. Also, they had feathers since there wasn’t many small predators during the late Cretaceous period other than Raptors tyrannosaurus evolved, the for their offspring to hunt small prey I made a post about this
Yeah they are. It's the angle. Trust me I'm a pt Rex main and they are vastly different from the adult to the point of being noticeable as you age.

Where is that area they go to nest in? like the particular place on the map, I know its the birchwood biomes I wanna nest there but cant find that exact location.
Now, as much as i love this documentary stiled video and how good and natural like the PT mod sare, i cant help not to mention that the theory about sexual dimorphism with tyrannosaur's, where's the females are belived to be bigger than males has been kinda debunked cause we cant determine with accuracy they're sexuality. However this doesnt mean that now we are 100% sure that the males were bigger than the females instead, but what we can can speculate with a closer result of they're real counterparts is based on our knowledge of they're closest still living relatives, the birds.
With birds we can see that in most of the cases, males are bigger than females, with some exception like in the kassowary case where the male isnt only smaller than the female but he also takes cure of the offsprings insted of the female (also in preistoric planet they gave the exact same behavior to the male T-rex at the start of the series). However this comment wasnt made to explain things that most of us already know but to understand the reasons behind the intrest of female and male of T-rex towards territorial behavior in this video.
A good example of territorial behavior in modern day's animals is with tigers. With tigers both male and females have territorial behavior's where males challenges each other over extreamly large territories. Female have territories too and they thefend them from other females but they are situated inside of the males larger territories. Now this kind of territorial behavior has developed in this way after years of evolution because males are phisically stronger than females and there's almost no competition between the adults.
And here i would like to know if in this universe females are always bigger than males at they're adult stage's, cause we see 2 male of T-rex in this video, one that could compete with the size of the female idk maybe im wrong. In a universe where males Tyrannosaur's are phisically stronger than females the probability of them to assume a more important role in territory behavior are higher and viceversa

I'd like to mention that this is not based on fact or speculation, and is instead a documentary styled guide on how our Tyrannosaurus profile works in our Path of Titans realism server. In reality, the majority of the behaviors, profiles, rules, and other elements bear little resemblance to the behaviors of actual animals. Achieving a truly realistic gameplay experience in Path of Titans would necessitate a comprehensive overhaul of the entire gameplay framework, involving substantial modifications. Even then, achieving complete "realism" remains doubtful. While we draw inspiration from these realism themes, our primary focus in PTR is on fostering enjoyment, fun, and delivering a distinctive gameplay experience.
With that said, it's important to mention that the increased size and strength observed in female Tyrannosaurus on PTR is a result of their role as territorial defenders. In our server, female Tyrannosaurus are responsible for guarding extensive territories, whereas males tend to adopt a more sedentary lifestyle, only roaming when the situation requires it. The necessity for greater size, strength, and power becomes evident when it comes to maintaining control over a vast domain.

This is the profile for Tyrannosaurus on the Primordial Tyrants Realism server. Females are bulkier to maintain their territories, and males stay on the move to travel and find females.
