Not taking one's eyes from the line in a quick concept case is a great feature. I wish NX had it. Though it is just a glance away...still...glancing gets annoying when the mind is hyped to make something.
I agree with your assessment. Another way would be to have the MB3 always show the same menu with the appropriate items highlighted as available. That way the mouse hand can almost go to the spot automatically.
@@ClassASurfacing I hope one day to see all tools on MB3. Scroll for layer shift instead of tabing thru ribbon. And the navigator pops out with a click on the 3D mouse button. SO much real estate and tools literally at one's fingertips. :)
Personally, I don't like that many. That's just me. One thing Dassault does get correct about the MB3 pop-ups is that they are consistent. If I MB3 over a feature in the tree or screen or wherever I get the same menu. Very helpful.
Hello, For a project I need to design a monocoque chassis on catia, only I don't know the ideal technique to design such a part. Would you have made a video or a document that could help me please? I suppose that it is necessary to use the surface functions and to create successive plans in the way of a boat hull but I am not sure. Thank you in advance for your answer
It's nice to see some new 3dexperience videos. There have been a lot of good improvements in the past 2 years.
They have done a lot of hard work over the last several years to make things a lot better and it's time to show it off.
About time to have these quick options
still too many clicks to make two lines parallel (or other feature when selecting two entities)

Hello,
For a project I need to design a monocoque chassis on catia, only I don't know the ideal technique to design such a part. Would you have made a video or a document that could help me please? I suppose that it is necessary to use the surface functions and to create successive plans in the way of a boat hull but I am not sure. Thank you in advance for your answer
I do not have any plans for something like that but the idea to use a composite boat hull is smart.
The process will be very similar.
@@ClassASurfacing thank you for your reply :)
Also, think about any thick area with a lot of plys. See if you can use some sort of core material to reduce ply count and weight.
