As someone who initially wanted to pursue some sort of writing career and stumbled upon thinking that I'd like game journalism, one thing's for sure now that we're all here: Just get the damn AIs to do it, they have better reading and visual comprehension than anyone who's ever done a game review.
The funny thing is at 8:17 my guess is the level is so simple I could only guess it's to show off the water mechanic, which imo is perfect game design and yet...
Vedal's working on a new voice for Neuro so her tone of voice remains the same while being more expressive. There's a very short demo of how it sounds like in this channel. The video's called "Vedal shows V3 Neuro voice."
Yeah, for the longest time Evil's been the more advanced but more experimental voice model. Her V2 voice was supposed to be Neuro's, but when they eventually tried out the "Evil" Neuro Sama character, it just made sense to use her to test the voice that Vedal was trying to tweak but was still a little far off from the vision he wanted for regular Neuro's 'evolved' voice.
Evil has a better voice model. Only reason why normal Neuro doesn't have it is because it doesn't sound like classic Neuro. In fact, when Vedal did A B testing on V2 Neuro's new voice, people liked Neuro's current V2 voice, while the Evil Neuro model sounded like Neuro if she hit puberty, despite sounding more natural.
i noticed watching through a supercut that she eventually starts calling him “vedal” pronounced correctly, assuming it wasn’t the case the whole time and i didn’t just happen to notice it at an inopportune time. which means she tried to call him by his proper name to try and send a “okay, you got me, i’m sorry for saying it wrong, please come back” like she figured that could be why he was gone
5:05 In Camila's defense, the fire blocking the exit makes it seem like you'll only block yourself in if you push it up, yet the only way you _can_ push it is up, so this leads to circular logic where you're trying to figure out a problem that doesn't exist. If the idea is to make it simple for a new player to test the waters, then you want to avoid confusion like that by making a clearer path or having some sort of indicator to hint that it's possible in the first place, as most games tend to not allow objects to be pushed off a screen like that. Unless the idea was subversion of expectations, but in that case it's a cheap trick that only works once because it assumes the player doesn't realize that you can push the fire up to the next screen, and once they realize it's possible then they take this into account from then on, so all it really does is show how you think about problems. Do you keep going forward and try something that seems impossible just for the sake of trying it, or do you stop and try to think about a situation before trying anything? It becomes a trap for the latter way of thinking. I've never really liked this kind of "clever" design because in the end all it does is waste someone's time instead of actually testing logic and reasoning. If you want to teach a player what's possible in your game, there are better ways to do this. I'd say a good example is Baba Is You.
I'm bad at puzzle games in the sense that I seriously lack intuition for them, like reading a block-moving puzzle's routes before tackling it, but I compensate for it somewhat by using up all options, coming at it from different angles.
I'm pretty sure it was on purpose. Both Neuro and Evil have shown before that they can do long pauses if they want using several periods. So it's safe assume she didn't use any on purpose.
Hmmm, I wonder if he has thought of voice commands where instead of what Neuro says, a visual occurs from what he says? Hes already constantly transcribing everything anyways.
This seriously is a problem when you develop a puzzle game. If you make it a proper challenge, an average player will hate it and you'll get bad reviews. If you make a game everyone can solve, you'll remove all the fun from the game.
The water part in the end was a bit "mean". As gamer, we are conditioned to avoid water whenever possible, because whenever there is water, we cant cross it or it kills us. That you can "walk" on it, even with the move-direction twist, that was really unexpected. When she first walked on the water, i thought she found a glitch.....
We coming up boys, we won woman of the year, multiple woman beauty pageants, female sports gold medals / trophies and now best female vtuber this year! Proven men are better at everything including being woman!
I have to give her this, she didn't just give up as soon as it got difficult, then whine and demand you just do it. Unlike my first girlfriend. But, there is little that will make you think less of someone like giving them a puzzle and discovering they are painfully obtuse.
So they’ve known each other for a while. Koko’s first collab with Neuro was the one from yesterday. I know they played lethal company together on Camila’s stream and I remember that koko banned vedal from her chat for 24 hours when he banned Camila for the same reason lol

"You considered a career in games journalism" to be fair, I think she is still doing better than those professionals do.
Not a high bar to clear tbh.

9:35 The genuine joy in Camila's voice after figuring out what water does is hilarious to me.
most vtubers understand using two braincells at once is to much thinking to deal with
“I’ll give you a cookie” Is Vedals “Would you kindly”
The joy he felt bruh😂
There's nothing more joyful to a programmer than to see our stupid program finally working for once.
Evil: "I'm bored again, is there house work for me to do?"
Vedal: "she wants to do HOUSE WORK!"

Love how both daughters will do anything for a cookie png
Can you blame them? Cookies are good
When i get a date am just gonna use vedal's game of puzzles as a test from now on to decide wether or not to take her seriously.
The funny thing is at 8:17 my guess is the level is so simple I could only guess it's to show off the water mechanic, which imo is perfect game design and yet...
You could learn this water mechanic in the first puzzle...
Bro's letting the fame of the number one female streamer get to him
Something about this reminded me about NGNL where Sora and Shiro would DOG on Steph like jerks, but it's Vedal and Neuro(Evil) to Camilla 😂
Pretty much. Minus the whole Isekai thing.
RIP in peace season 2 btw. So many others got a second season but one of the strongest classics was left to rot. Epic fail.
@@Archedgarat least it got a movie 💀
I always hate it when someone says, “Think outside the box!” Because you have two parts: the box and EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE UNIVERSE.
And after all that, the solution was in the box the entire time.
I cant believe there is someone worse than me at puzzle games, and I consider myself pretty bad at it.
Poor Camila, this entire clip is just her being a punching bag lol
5:05 I love that punchline and the sell after the fact.
Vedal has let the fact he is #1 female streamer go to his head, he is mad with power.
I like Camillas voice.
3:33 That Camila noise was wonderful
Cookie well earned
Literally lost all hesitation lol
Is it me, or does Evil speak a lot more naturally than Neuro?
Yea she has the version where it sounds more natural, but it doesnt sound like 'Neuro' so he gave it to Evil
Vedal's working on a new voice for Neuro so her tone of voice remains the same while being more expressive. There's a very short demo of how it sounds like in this channel. The video's called "Vedal shows V3 Neuro voice."

Evil sounds more schizo than neuro which is in line with the average twitch chat user

Coming back it’s amazing how Evil has been consistently nicer and sweeter to collab partners than Neuro. She’s so sweet to Camila here
I remember helping a friend with a programing homework, it felt exactly the same

It is a good thing she is very charismatic.
Camillas the kind of person to not change the batteries in her smoke detector
Now that you reminded me...
Smoke detectors have batteries?! 😲
Can’t believe daily dose also ruined his sleep schedule for these clips lmao
I was wondering why Daily Dose was brought up until I looked at the channel and realized you were talking about a different Daily Dose
Camila with the actual brainrot lmao
I love the whole #1 female streamer thing

I guess this explains all the puzzle game ads with demos where the player is so crap at the game
