Considered as one of the best surfers in the world, Dane Reynolds is the embodiment of a surf revival. An aerial, creative surf without compromise. He may even be the best thing to happen to surfing in the last decade. Desillusion Magazine’s editor in chief Sebastien Zanella followed Dane from Hawaii through to his hometown Ventura in California, to get an true insight of his life away from the spotlight.

That was a really cool video. Ventura does suck in allot of ways its right on the beach but the people can really be assholes. I have looked up to Dane my whole surfing life about 15 years. I respect him and love seeing him out at Rincon, Silverstrand, Emawood , the other day at the point and so on. Not only is he a great surfer but a great guy. Keep inspiring people to be the best they can thanks Dane ..
Video incroyable, je me suis pris une vrai claque! Dane est vraiment incomparable, c'est un grand surfeur, le plus grand surfeur pour ma part mais aussi une personnalité hors du commun! Et même avec la notoriété qu'il a acquéri il a su rester lui meme et garder "l'esprit surf"... Chapeau bas monsieur reynolds!

I surf in Israel in the Mediterranean Sea on medium waves and I can say that Dane Reynolds is a legend and inspiration to many surfers.
You see through his eyes that he is a good person a stage and it gives positive energy to the world! Tnx Dane!

Dane a un style tellement particulier sur sa board, il est vraisemblablement le freesurfeur le plus talentueux. L'interview nous immerge complètement, c'est vraiment bien filmé et confectionné, mais dommage qu'on ne le voit pas plus surfer.

Dane is cool and all that but what makes him even cooler than he knows is Amen Dunes playing in his doc.
Whoever picked the music, and made the decisions to play it under his voice without using sidechaining really fucked up.
