Soldier: 76 is a character that Blizzard made and designed from the ground up to *be and look like Generic Soldier Guy.* Like, it's in his name. AND YET. SOMEHOW. These devs have created an *entire cast of characters* whom I could not remember if you put them on a big theater screen and strapped me down in a chair in front of it with my eyes forced open and made me to do so over the course of a month.
Imagine being one of the developers for a game like this, spending most of your time working hard on making the best job you can, just for the designers and managers to decide the game will star a bunch of poorly designed DEI-infected characters. At one point you start to realize all your work is for nothing, the game will inevitably fail and everyone in the studio knows it, but no one dares say it for fear of repercussions. Then the game launches and fails, and you know you will probably get fired despite it not being your fault at all. I just hope they got paid well for their time, at least.
I recall around this time in Overwatch life that I've seen EnEsFW stuff was spread online in my social circles. I don't recall, not even in jest, a single EnEsFW post from Concord.

There were some threads on 4Chan that tried to fix the designs for a couple of the "characters" like the fat black woman with the minigun or the Tupperware woman. It turns out giving them both full face covering helmets and simplifying the designs did a lot to make them palatable. They were all still pretty terrible, so there's only so much you can do.
The appearance alone would make the games' success an uphill battle IF the game was good. Can you imagine the sales of skins and cosmetics for those DEI designs?
Once upon a time I wouldn't have believed such a thing even possible, Sony releasing such garbage. Now everything outside of Sony JPN could be taken to the vet and nothing of value would be lost.

I remember a developer that talk about it in a video before erase, that the reason they took so long to develop these crap, and produce crap, is that DEI, and ESF, diversity you kick out those who can develop, and put diversity you leave very few who can work, you do meetings after meeting for nothing, to fix or install something when the veterans and those who can work could fix fast, and if they fix they are kick out because they didnt await the order, so they have to call a meeting and they talk and chat and do nothing, also if they suffest solution is always the most inefficient or uneffective, and all that is time waste and money waste, also the constant push for marketing do games that the CEO or marketing wants and push the agenda and focus group ending doing games no one want, and the ones that acutaly develop, know it, they know the game is a failure, they know they are the ones that will be fired so they work bad, constantly crunching and winning misery.
So in the end that is how you end with a bad product

Imagine being one of the developers for a game like this, spending most of your time working hard on making the best job you can, just for the designers and managers to decide the game will star a bunch of poorly designed DEI-infected characters. At one point you start to realize all your work is for nothing, the game will inevitably fail and everyone in the studio knows it, but no one dares say it for fear of repercussions. Then the game launches and fails, and you know you will probably get fired despite it not being your fault at all. I just hope they got paid well for their time, at least.

There were some threads on 4Chan that tried to fix the designs for a couple of the "characters" like the fat black woman with the minigun or the Tupperware woman. It turns out giving them both full face covering helmets and simplifying the designs did a lot to make them palatable. They were all still pretty terrible, so there's only so much you can do.
The appearance alone would make the games' success an uphill battle IF the game was good. Can you imagine the sales of skins and cosmetics for those DEI designs?
Once upon a time I wouldn't have believed such a thing even possible, Sony releasing such garbage.
