What if the emergency contraceptive drug is taken just after intercourse and just after the ovulation, should it still prevent pregnancy ? Some say progesterone also prevents sperm from reaching through the uterus, if this is the case, still why the emergency pill says it has to be taken within 72 hours, why not it says it should be best taken just before intercourse if possible to prevent fertilisation? Please solve my inquiry
Very clear and informative thanks! Just trying to work out why Im having a period 3 weeks into switching from the combined pill (with a break every 4 weeks) to taking the progesterone only pill continuously, any ideas?
The cycle chart makes no sense. After ovulation the egg only survives for about 24 hours if not fertilized so day 17-19 should be labeled as infertile, not 40-60% fertile.
Excellent work

I had unprotected sex on the 20th day on my birth control pills, 1st pack/taking them. Should I take the PlanB pill?
