As a South Carolina fan I have complete respect for them. I don't have to much against him for leaving in the middle of the season. He brought our program up from the ground. Although it fell quickly the next season, it wasn't too far lost for Muschamp to pick it back up. Hopefully he can make us an SEC championship contender.

*Considering how few national championships we have at all...in any sport...a national championship football would be glorious.*
*I feel sorry for Alabama fans because no matter what they do, it's literally impossible for them to experience the potential euphoria that Gamecock Nation will one day experience. It's great to be a Gamecock.*

Usecd to hate this guy. Loved to see him throw his visor down. He was good, but he did quit like a bitch. Keeping it real.

Spurrier's just not a likable guy. He always comes across as arrogant to me.

I'd get bored golfing all the time. Besides, I never regarded golf as a "sport." Golf is more of a pastime (like fishing) for old fat guys with no athletic ability.

      No athletic ability?

Say that to Tiger Woods and he'll laugh.

@@CrazyWeatherDude I'd say it to his face. Don't get me wrong. Golf is fun but calling golf a sport is a bit of a stretch like bowling and curling. You can be fat and out of shape and still golf, bowl, or curl.

He made Carolina a power and relevant end of story, other than that who’s the Gamecocks? No facility would be there and the complete do over of the entire campus was due to the revenue during that time, get over it

He coached for a whole decade good luck trying to find that loyalty these days and made the dogs hit program into SOMETHING you obviously don’t know shit about college football you’re like a kid walking into a movie halfway through go take a nap

Spurrier couldn't take Nick Saban being treated like a Rock Star at SEC media days. He got butt hurt and tried throwing shade then Saban won more national titles and laughed Spurrier off like a "who's he?" And now Spurrier is clown at Florida as a Meaningless Job Title holder getting his ego stroked in Gainesville.
