This is my Heidi Game. I live in the US, so it was Sunday Morning. I watched as much as I could until I got ready for church. Caven was still owning Simon at that point, so I assumed the match was done and dusted. I checked my tablet when I parked in the lot, and this match was still going. Simon's last 146 out is a thing of beauty. NEVER GIVE UP. I'm a firm believer that Caven did NOT choke. Simon just found another 2 or 3 gears at just the right time. He won more than Jamie lost.
In an interview with Paul Nicholson, Simon Whitlock talks about this match. He said that at one point, he was so far behind and lost all hope, when he saw a fly on the surround. Simon got so annoyed with the fly, that he decided to have a go at it with his last dart. You can see it at 16:55 For some reason, it settled him down and the rest is darting history.
Difference between German and English audience is that the Germans really watch the match on stage and feel and celebrate with the players while the English just party all the time :D both sure are entertaining and fun but I really prefer the German audience here, being mostly quiet and thrilled by such an amazing match.
Its just the name of the tournament, its called that because it is held somewhere in Europe like in 2015 in was held in Belguim but here it was in Germany
simon's reaction after the 146 finish for the match is priceless !!
The Wizard didn't panic, just stayed calm and reeled him in. Great win Simon. Aussie, oi oi oi.
Jamie was playing well but then he started Caven in towards the end
Orryy. 😂

34:45 is really intense and shows what I mean when talking about the German audience.
What a finish. You could see Simon shaking with nerves but he still threw 3 perfect darts to win
Caven have talent, but he also need the talent to finish it . Amazing what a turnaround.

Caven had 6 darts to finish from 170. Bottled it.
How can an aussie compete in a European championship. Last time I heard, Australia was not in this continent?
Its just the name of the tournament, its called that because it is held somewhere in Europe like in 2015 in was held in Belguim but here it was in Germany
i Traumatik Ok then I thought it meant that only Europeans could compete, but that makes sense as well.
Stu Wilkes look at the eurovision songcontest
Caven cry :d
