i know this is a relatively old video, but i do appreciate videos on the newer xbox stuff ! maybe someday you'll get to covering some of the older early xbox one exclusives ;)
at last someone who does a proper review instead of badmouthing the game because of not allot of new features compared to the old game. i think that even if you have the old AOM, its still worth picking this one up too. the improvement of graphics is a massive boost. i can finally see an actual face rather than a blur. the new feature to have your villagers focus on specific economic tasks automatically is pretty neat and im looking forward to try the new god when ive upgraded to premium.
The game plays well but when i do multiplayer on series x with 4 of my buddies. They keep getting disconnected from the game. And it appears to be a known issue..really frustrating atm
So no one can get through a multiplayer game without crashing… we have a 100% crash rate on Xbox. Also, the “auto settler job” thing does not work, it is a disaster. In aoe4 it works pretty well (not near perfect). But in this game it is an absolute mess
$30 feels a bit steep for me personally since I almost always wait for sales. For someone who usually pays the launch price, it might be worth it. It really depends on your buying habits.

My died and I played this together and it is some of my best memories. I was so excited when I heard about this coming out. He would have loved this.

Its pretty fun so far it controls similar to age of empires 4 on xbox so i was able to pick it up quick

It plays perfect with mouse/ keyboard on the series x. I woukd recommend.

The best way to play a legendary RTS. If you like the genre at all, GO PLAY
If I could turn cross play off and not keep getting matched up with high level pc players that’d be nice.
