It is absolutely always a total pleasure to heard you & to watch whatever it is you’re doing!! Thank you for sharing so much creativity, calmness, & your tool/items you use!!👍🏻🤗👏🏻🙌🏻
I tried doing this several times with water color paints. They look so pretty, but you can’t wash them and I wanted to use them in a bag. So it was a no go. But I did make some pretty hearts to hang up.
@@Kathleen58 Yes you can get some pretty effects with watercolors! These Dye Na Flow paints are permanent after drying and heat setting though so they are worth a try if you can find a set. 😊
I'm loving the videos. Many thanks for sharing.. I have heard mention of Freezer paper several times. What exactly is it? I'm in the UK and prefer not to use Amazon. Would appreciate your help. Thanks.
I’ve heard it’s called “Grease Proof Paper” in the UK. It’s inexpensive where I live and found at the grocery store in the section where you buy food wrap. One side is wax coated and the other side is paper. Hope that helps!😊🧵🪡
I love the colors you have in this set of paints, can you tell me what set it is? I can't find it on Amazon. They have lots of metallic and pearlescent paints in Jacquard but I love this set you have.
It’s the Exciter Pack. www.jacquardproducts.com/dyenaflow-exciter-packs on the product page there’s a Where to Buy button. Hopefully you can find some. They really are vibrant and beautiful.
I got the set (Dye-na-Flow Exciter Pack) from a local art supply store (BC Canada) called Opus. Here’s a link to Jacquard, the manufacturer’s site. There’s a Where to Buy button on that page that might be helpful to find where to get it near you. www.jacquardproducts.com/dyenaflow-exciter-packs
Using lots of water blends the colours to give subtle variations within an overall solid colour (in this case green). Not using water would make a multicoloured effect.
@@peaceofpi-studio I realised that it was the water but there were so many interesting colours at the start that I was disappointed that the effect was lost by the end - I was intrigued to see how you would include the spots of different colours in the piece. I regret the way I phrased my comment because I am really looking forward to seeing how the project evolves.
I’ve just recently come across your page. I really like your scroll. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Thank you! I’m working on the next part of the scroll video now. It’s a labour of love😊🧵🪡
Lovely, I shall have ago sometime! Thanks
What a beautiful result you got! Thank you for your clear step by step instructions. I feel ready to try it on a shashiko stitching panel.

Thank you Jo. I live in a small coastal town in Victoria, Australia. Will try the link. Very difficult to get supplies here😂❤
Maybe one of the online options for Australia on this page will carry it www.jacquardproducts.com/online-only-stores I hope you find some! 😊💜🧵🪡

Love your projects - thanks, especially for the tips on integrating color. But, not "everything" has to be "little" or "little-tiny". 🙂
Would that be permanent? Washable? Thank you so much 😊
After heat setting it’s permanent. I haven’t tried washing but most likely washing in cold water would be ok. 😊🧵🪡

That looks like a whole lot of palaver to get fabric that was almost one colour at the end. Still it could be interesting.
