I pulled two girls off the angel tree at Walmart age 11 and 17. The 11 yr old wanted a tablet and the 17 yr old wanted a camera. They both got a teddy bear and a blanket. The 17 yr old wanted skin care like face mask so she got a 10pc facemask set and a five pc lotion set. She also wanted craft kits. So I got her a paint your own suncatcher kit. The 11 yr old I got her a Starbucks tumbler with the hot chocolate and both girls got a ornament with bath bombs and and a friendship bracelet inside. I got the 11 yr old something else to but I can't remember what it was. Price wise the tablet and cover was about 40.00 more than the instax camera but number wise, both had the same amount of gifts. I hope at least I made someone's Christmas special

I love buying for angel tree kids. I really like that it helps kids in the community that I live in. My church also includes adults in our angel tree program and often all they are asking for is new clothing or kitchen necessities. It is so important to make sure that everyone can feel loved and supported no matter what their life circumstances

I have been wanting to do this for years and I haven't done it yet.
I'm so happy you are doing this!
Those sketchers shoes are so cool! I agree... Every kid should have a stuffy😊.
I love everything you and your mom picked out. What a blessing you are to whoever receives these Christmas gifts.
Love that you gave a warm coat and added a Bible and prayer journal.
What a thoughtful way to show you care by adding her name onto the Bible. 🎄❤️
Awesome you took on so many kids.
I need to stop taking about doing this and do it!
May God bless you and your mom for your kindness and generosity!

@@dianaruthshoeboxes It is the busiest time of the year right now so totally get how you could intend to do it every year but not get to it. I recommend picking them out before black friday next year and then it is easy to shop for them along with everything else you buy! Thanks for watching!

A word of advice when it comes to Angel Tree kids don't send Bibles and prayer things you don't know what religion they are and that could be an insult to them these kids want toys not Bibles what is wrong with you quit letting your religion override kids fun at Christmas if I would have got that at Christmas it would have went right in the garbage😅

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ. Most parents teach their children to be grateful for gifts they receive. Sorry your parents failed.
