Hatched at home costs and additional +1 kei per colonized system so Instead of draining 1 kei per turn, It drains 2 which isn't worth it for the first 20 or so turns
I just won my first Hissho game, my attacker ships were short ranged beasts with railguns while my protector ships had the science module and beams. I got the science from scrap tactics card which let me add siege modules on the protectors. All 3 of my Hissho heroes were admirals with fleet strengths of around 190k offensive power! Razing system after system gave me tons of resources to mine, and since all the AIs had system shields to defend from an Obliterator, I pivoted to a wonder victory. Great guide, great channel, I'm looking forward to more content from you.
I just watched your cravers video! I loved it. I’m used to simpler Sophons and gimmicky factions like cravers, hisho, and vodyani are a bit difficult for me to enjoy so I love hearing you make sense of them
Thanks, never could get on with the Hissho and this helped me out a lot. The warlike faction aesthetic is a bit misleading really; they have more in common with Endless Legend's Allayi (my fav EL faction, incidentally) than anyone else for half the game. So essentially: don't fret about colonisation like you would with other factions, instead focus on the things you need to rush the best Behemoth techs and maximise your starting system. Pretty much the opposite of what I'd been doing, then!
Allayi are my favorite too, yes that's a good point they are quite similar. You don't go to war to conquer, you war to raze systems for your mining probes lol, just take and hold capitals.
These are really helpful. I love Endless Space from a lore standpoint, but the gameplay sometimes frustates me as many factions don't seem very intuitive to play. Thank you for helping me survive more than 20 turns in multiplayer :D
I would love an Umbral Choir guide. They're the most arcane to me, especially because I don't really understand hacking in general. I'm a big fan of playing "good" guys, but my favorite faction for now is Nakalim.
I can go over hacking and umbral defense in the hissho guide, however the AI plays umbrals poorly. Maybe I can record part of a game session against an umbral and use that!
I absolutely support this content ! ES2 is life ! Edit: Little question, is the ESG mod compatible with the reawakening update ? I know that most of the ESG mod was integrated into the game itself as its creator worked with Amplitude for Reawakening Cheers !
I just use the mod, it still has active development and has changes I'm used to that the patch does not include for whatever reason. I doubt they work together!
I finally beat impossible difficulty and discovered that vodyani are so cool and stylish but I just dont enjoy their playstyle. Now its time to try endless for the first time... with the hishoo for the first time! What can go wrong xd. Rewatching this video now xd
@@theendlessspaceacademyi saw u manually drag things up the building queue. if u hold "alt" and left click in the left menu it will automatically be placed on top of the queue. same with science
i joined the esg discord and ur videos became a topic. dont know if u actively read whats goin on there but i didnt want to ping "whisperer" in case its not actually you xd.

Some are certainly worse than others, I personally don't like the Umbral Choir for this reason.

Awesome, always wanted to play the hissho but I suck at them, this ought to help :)
Also the fleet for farming science opened my eyes, also my friends hate me for it. You should roll a separate guide for this kind of stuff.
