I got a full EM set with good substats on Gilded in like 2 weeks of farming, but it took me 3 years to get EITHER a goblet or a circlet on VV. I think his stance on crafting EM goblets is questionable at least. It's true that you're not gaining value from the substat selection, but there's a good chance that if you craft an elemental damage bonus goblet with double crit it just ends up being mid or bad (he knows that xd). At least crafting an EM one for a hyperbloom character is guaranteed value
don’t really agree with this. crafting an elemental dmg goblet gives you at least two stats rolls worth of value even if all rolls miss (as you have the base rolls) and can often free you up to use cracked off pieces for a net gain overall
but it’s so much easier to get an em goblet without specific substats from just farming the domain, elemental damage goblets are way too specific. It’s better to have one chance even if it rolls bad instead of farming a decade for a specific set elemental damage double crit goblet
