Yep you right, we know what that chipset can do. But if the build quality is better than Powkiddy, then this could be nice. And we all love some LED's 🤣, Thanks for the awesome share.
It should run PS1 at full speed, the lowest PSP games (at least 200+ from my testing) at native resolution, most Staples on the N64, low end Dreamcast Emulation, and a handful of Saturn games.
I loved how the rgb20s had a top left analogue stick but damn the buttons were in the lower position. This one has the buttons in the right position but messed it up with the left analogue stick being down the bottom. Perfect IMO would be left stick top and D pad bottom, right stick bottom and buttons top.
I have been watching every video on youtube and the RP3+ is the one that I keep coming back to for the best price performance ratio. Either that or the RP3. Trying to figure out which device to get is exhausting! There is always some design flaw or performance issue or pricing that knocks a contender out of the running.
@@papayut79 Very but it's still an incredibly immature chipset. The developers won't be able to do much with it. The RK3588 isn't a Snapdragon, Unisoc, or any other Android Chipset.
What stickers are you talking about? Does it come preloaded with games? This will potentially be my first retro handheld! Keen to see your comparison with powderkiddy RGB20S which I was about to buy. And why would this type of hand held need wifi?
Just got mine, hoping you review it soon. Current firmware is AWFUL with no ability to change any options regarding the emulators or the games. Very barebones so hopefully someone with experience is already testing different OS’s to see what works. Might just try and apply the same ones that work on the Powkiddy and see what happens
It should have never died in the first place. It's the best cheap Chipset for PS1 and below Emulation with reasonable PSP, N64, and Dreamcast Emulation for the price.
It's a nice design I'll admit, but it's nothing new really. If you don't have anything with that chipset, you are fine with what it's capable of, and can find it at a good price I say go for it.
Is a rk3326 in 2023 still good for the right price?
Update: These have shipped, and also discovered it comes with Android OS, interesting 🤔
at 50 dollars maybe. 17 dollars too much to me.
@@iamnotyourbuddyGUY I'd say $50 - $60 is my ideal range (if shipping is included).
It all depends.
The android is complicating running custom stuff
Can't deny, it looks slick AF, if it has decent build quality I'm in

Legit, if the build quality and ergos are good it could be a diamond in the rough.
Maybe a little bit cheaper
@@BillyZard yep, powkiddy need to watch out with this one👍🏾
@SWPL
Not really.

Yeah man, PowKiddy doesn't seem too happy about this one 😅😅
@@retrohandhelds They have no right to be upset really, as they did the same thing to Funkey S with the Q36 in all fairness.
Looks interesting gotta see if strong enough to run PS1, PSP N64 ETC

The design looks incredibly awesome.
Agree 100% on the stickers! I want more!
I wanna ask , how can we add games n where to download them pls , like tekken tag 1 on mame n which specific site for these roms etc pls
So is this actually the PowKiddy RGB30?
I have my 351p same chip set I want the retroid pocket 3+ that seems to be he best one out

That D-Pad is looking a little flat. 😐
Not interested regardless of price. Old product in different packaging
According to my order, mine is in the states and im awaiting arrival. Status on yours?
Just got mine today
Already had an Anbernic and a Switch Lite, but if it has a wifi, browser, touchscreen, a camera for video call then - why not?
No sense getting any of these until the next gen rockchip 3588 comes out
How powerful is 3588?

Just got mine too looks like android but I can't get it to remove games I took off sd card or add the ones I added
Also can’t run a different SD OS, apparently this Android Pandora OS they used is put in on some internal memory so it’s baked in….. unfortunate
I've reached out to manufacture I ran into same issues I was told when I bought from them it was Linux based
Oh no, there's no wifi it would seem?
now THAT will be very interesting to find out 😀(the option to solder in wifi was there in the RGB20S, but they just didn't)
That's a fair complaint, but I can easily get past the no built-in WiFi if this Handheld supports Dongles.
the 3326 will never die

The bulbous back kinda kills it a bit
If u dont have a handheld and if its great build quality at 60$ that green would be nice with ArkOS. 😊
A frog sticker on this would be awesome. Maybe I'll buy it if the quality delivers!
Agreed! 😂
Interested to see if the butt cheeks give a comfortable grip. So to speak.
Garage in, garage out.

Like.
Viral on tik tok? Never use it, but wondering does RH have a presence there too?
Hey Opus, we do have a TikTok, but we haven't used it a ton, Damien publishes shorts on there for us.
