I am satisfied with my purchase. I use it daily and it can also double as a soundbar, that is helpful because we go watch football at a neighbors and they don't have so the portability is awesome.
I bought it two weeks ago at bestbuy for 60 bucks off.i love it more than my pb 100 or my jbl boombox.have not played any of my other 14 bluetooth speakers since.this U E speaker is awsome u just have to hear it at your own crib.indoors or outdoors this thing is very special n awsome.in my opinion.
I bought a JBL Xtreme 2 and wasn’t impressed, so I got the UE Hyperboom and now I’m not sure if I should return the JBL or just throw it in the trash to save the next schmuck!
@@LanceVance305 not sure why but they both connected at one point then became disconnected. Now I can only play one at a time. When I try to connect the other it just switch speakers
Love your reviews, man! Please help me sort out couple of these confusions. So, I'm pretty much into debate, amongst these speakers, Boombox 2 and Hyperboom. Definitely I'm looking for a clear, crispy and most natural sound but then the bass at lower frequencies shouldn't be compensated. Which one do you think can deliver better my needs? let's not bring their prices to the decision! Secondly, it seems here in India, the Hyperboom has gone out of stock, and can't expect it to arrive back, in anytime within 3 months. So, if I go with Boombox 2(owing to its availability better ) , does that seems compensating with the sound quality in any manner? Or should I be biased enough to hold on, until the thing arrives back? Third, does the Boombox 2 really does drop the vocals and that sound signature, around higher volumes, say 80 percent? And lastly, if I were to listen, around 50 percent volume, which one would you suggest to vibe out? Do, you think if I won't make it to Hyperboom, there'd be lot regret about?
Honestly, no, I was just pointing out you COULD because of the optical connection if you didn't have one. A dedicated soundbar is still going to be better.
A speaker response close to that of studio hardware will $400+ man. I'm talking like good good hardware, but I see your point. You could always tweak the EQ to give that flat response though

@@6mariooo235 that's exactly why i keep Sony xb31 that i got as a promo when i bought my sony xb41. But i will buy the pb100 for regular sittings with mates though the xb41 provides great sound and pretty good bass.(ive tweaked the equalizer via music app)

You can only skip forward on the boom itself, not backwards. Just worth a mention.
I got one yesterday. And love it. It also looks better than any other on the market
I'm newer to ultimate ears products but I'd have to agree that their different speakers are the best looking

Very informative superb production Jacob !
You’ve just confirmed my order for two hyperbooms. God bless you
Thank you
@@JacobDarkOfficial update 2 months later of ownership worth every penny. Even better when driving my classic cars pair the two
@@LanceVance305 how did you pair them?

Noticed that UE offer a student discount of 20% which makes this unite a much better price target.
I bought it and I love it..
EL.DE.LA.TROKA AMARILLA can use Spotify on it?
@@paulhenry996, ofcourse you can use Spotify on it

Nice informative review.
What camera do you use bro.
Your video is Crystal.
I got one for Christmas and loving it. My JBL Boombox started skipping like crazy and cant seem to stop. I wasnt going to spend another $400 on one.
I was wondering if this speaker have car charger in case is dead away from home ? Thanks for your great review!
Some real customers says that the sound on this speaker are awful and then the handle breaks and goodbye speaker.
And where did you get this information?
You clearly don’t own this speaker 😂

I own both. They're both great.
The boombox 2 can get louder. But they both sound great.
Nice review! Could I know if you would like to review a micrphone as well?
I'm listening
@@JacobDarkOfficial May I have your emaIl address? So that we can talk more about t he details. :)
Can it be pair with another hyper for stereo? Thank you
It can indeed
Hey can u do a bass test to see if it goes below 45hz like u mentioned
Can i use it with the ac power? In case the battery has drained out totally after a couple of years
Yes you can
Excellent summary and conclusion. Is it louder than the BRAVEN BRV-XXL?
You think it would work well as a sound bar???

@@JacobDarkOfficial why not? isnt it as powerful as a sound bar?
I would like to see someone do a comparison between this and the aiwa exos 9
Boombox 2 or UE hyperboom ?
wher can buy that
It has a fast recharge turnaround and battery life over 20 hours at 50% volume
Yes, it charges fast and sounds better than the boom box 2
I wonder what has more bass this or the Diamondboxx m3
Haven't tried the Diamondboxx but this one is solid!
What does the IN plug do?
$400? Man, I like the build and all, but no. It would need to have a flat, studio-like response b4 I dropped that much cash...

Do you know of some decently priced studio monitors that you would recommend?
