Ellen Gould White (1827-1915) was an American Christian writer and one of the founders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She is one of the most translated writers in the history of world literature and is considered a prophetess by Seventh-day Adventists. This quality of English composition would have received A++++++++++ from my college English Professor. Glory to the Highest alone. Lord, pls fill me up with the Holy Spirit so I can write like this, too...or even more...for your glory alone.

Thank you for this. I am reading this book and doing a weekly group study but have faltered on some chapters. I hope to fill in the blanks and continue with our current chapter. My, this book is amazing. I just read Nicodemus and it blew my mind. Have a blessed day.
Oh wow thanks for sharing. I know you were not talking to me personally. But I totally agree. What a Great, Biblical, True. Book. They way she writes is so easily understood. And always backed up by Bible Book Chapter and Verse.
Did you not find the chapter "Days of Conflict" totally made up and unscrptural?
Example: As Jesus was born of a virgin, where did OLDER brothers come from? And all the other imaginings of conflicts and rabbis, and healing before the Cana Wedding miracle are not Scriptural based.
When I read this chapter, I did research and found the OLDER Brother scenario to be a Catholic tradition!
This chapter makes the rest of the book unreadable, other than as a curiosity.
