James - you forgot to show the entire Statue assembly covered in Scaffolding during its centennial year (1986) of statue restoration. That’s a serious visual omission.
Very fascinating visual history of the statue, but there is an error. For the 1876 slide, only the arm and torch were put on display at the exhibition. The statue's head and shoulders weren't completed and displayed until 1878
Yes it is important to note that France, Germany, The Netherlands and Britain were the four countries that made modern America alongside other allied powers down the road but the ones i just mentioned are the main ones

Indeed the twin towers collapsed in 1972 as shown. WTC7 was not built until '87 so was still safe
