I absolutely love Ford and Chevrolet trucks.Really low price for a Classic C-20 seems a steal to me.Your stock just keeps getting better and better Nick.👌😎
Hesitation is probably the accelerator pump. The fix is simple for someone who know those two barrel carbs. I would fix it for you if you bring it to central Texas. Good video Nick. You are doing a great job.
Just like my grandfathers I used to drive to high school in once in a while (one of my cousins still drives it). Nothing like riding around and listening to the gas slosh around in the tank right behind you LOL.
I getting ready to look at one , and it’s not I don’t think it’s in the same condition. I think the one I am going to look at may need more love, and that’s listed for $9,950.
That would be perfect for me. I don't do much driving on the interstate hwys anyway. Just around town driving. I wish I lived up your way so I could make some payment arrangements if you do them in store. Also looks very easy to work on. Like you said, new carb. and a tune-up, ready to cruise.
All SBC engines are basically the same. 4 different bore sizes and 4 different crank strokes. They used these to make every different cid engine . Yep 265,283, 302, 305,327,350,400 and I think I’m missing 1/2. All made with 4 bores 4 cranks in different combinations . Personally the 327 and 400 are my favorite. 350 always drank gas and had no grunt for me. 283 is a fine engine as well . 305 nope 350 nope. Actually the 307 could be a great torque engine if the correct heads and intake we’re applied. Add a set of long tube headers and a 850 cfm carb and don’t count it out. In my region we have a lot of steep hills so most of. The 3/4 trucks had a floor shift with a compound low for snaking out of the haller with tire chains . I like the column shift because the shifter allows more passenger room. Nice truck !
Nice old survivor. I bet that hesitation is either the accelerator pump in the carburetor or the vacuum advance on the distributor, or maybe just a bad hose going to the advance. I bet it's a minor issue either way. The color combination was popular back then, there was a lot of them. So many had the white roof's also. This will make someone a good truck. My grandfather bought a new one like this except it was a bronze color with the white top and his neighbor had a new two tone green one. They got bored one day and decided to go look at trucks and they both came home with one. They got a better deal since they bought two at the same time. I think they were a little over $3000. apiece at the time. I don't know how you find this many old cars and trucks!
I myself wouldn't fool with that 307 they were dogs just find a decent 350 to slide in there and be done some new front end parts I'd drive that daily in the summer months
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate damn I figured it would go quick! I'm in the market for a '66 and a '70, big block 4-spd cars!!! Oh well, I'll keep watching your channel till they pop up and immediately jump on them! Thanks Nick

Hi
Oh yes its a chevrolet
Hi Nick, i want one truck, between 1964-1970 C10, prize range 3,000-3,600, i live in México, please contact me for details, thanks and regards
Like the truck motor questionble
Yea, never knew they put a 307 in a 3/4 ton usually a 350 400 or 454
Ya they built quite a few of 307s
Sounds like a burnt value maybe .
Rickashay 60 me thinks doughnut gasket. Or manifold gasket. Remember that petro was 112 octane leaded fuel when these were built. Very fixable!
Nice pu
what if you crash this
Then the other guy is in trouble
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate do you die if you crash this 1970 truck
