    Thank you! That was really helpful =) My microscope came without a manual and I was unsure how to do this. Now I got a nice centered light, so much better!

    Can Koehler illumination be achieved without a field diaphragm ???
    if yes , how ???

      @@VIBSHistology FWIW, I've seen tutorials by other profs from other colleges that show how to set it up using only the condenser diaphragm if you don't have a field diaphragm. But thanks for the detailed video.
      I'm not a student at your university, but your explanation helped, even though I own an inexpensive OMAX microscope that doesn't have a field diaphragm.

    You focus the condenser ON THE EDGE OF THE FIELD DIAPHRAGM. Mr. professor, please be clear in your language.
