@@miltonwilliams2399 If I was going to upgrade it would be to a Pro or Pro Max and no way can I justify the outlay as the benefits over my 13 for me would be not worth the cost. I'd rather put that money towards a Studio Display to use with my M2 Pro MacBook Pro. If I had the spare cash that is
Keeping my 14 Pro Max. Quite satisfied with it. I like that they increased the screen size on the Pro model even though only by .2, and I would enjoy the better zoom and the better sensors. I thought the 11 Pro Max at 6.5 was just right. I would like a slightly smaller and lighter phone but just not enough to upgrade a 2 year old phone that is still excellent. I'm curious to see if the capture button becomes a pain in the nether regions.
I was planning on upgrading but there were far too many “we’ll be rolling these features out later” for my liking. So the upgrade is postponed until the iPhone 17 next year.
My iPhone 8 still working well, but the camera button feature is attractive to me. I always have hard time reaching and pressing the on-screen or volume button to take the photo...
They probably came up with a good false positive rejection system for the new camera button. For example if the phone is in-active for 5+ minutes and flipped upside down then you might have to touch press the camera button harder to activate it. Apple is usually pretty good at these details (usually).
Going to be getting myself an iPhone 15 Pro (hoping for a good drop in price) and the new iPad Mini when it's finally released. Thanks for the content.
@@JerrySchulze black personally for me. My second choice is white. Although I’m curious if the smudging/discoloration issues will still be present on the black like they did on 15 pro last year. What do you think?
I'm in the process of jumping headfirst into the Apple eco system. Few weeks ago I bought the I-Pad Mini 6. Few days ago bought the M3 Macbook Air. Around the end of the month I'll be getting the Ultra 2 watch and I-Phone Pro or Pro Max along with air pods. I'm beginning to learn how this all works together and I'm loving the experience so far. Did they happen to mention a firm date for the Sequoia upgrade? I really miss my window tiling from Windows PC. Yes, I know about the apps you can install that allows that, but I'm not too keen on installing stuff to allow basic tasks.
Except for the cameras, there is nothing new in iPhone 16. Cameras (48 MP) is a real good bump up on specs. But is that a sufficient reason to upgrade?? That is something one must answer themselves. According to me NO. Because their Apple Intelligence is still not ready (software) and will come in batches or patches from Dec onwards till mid of next year. Besides AI is quite new and Apple does not seem to be really ready with AI, at least for its iPhones. And importantly, I do not want my phone to be over smart. Nevertheless, it will take at least 2-3 yrs for Apple to come out with good AI features for its phones. Meaning that this is a half baked AI phone, which we will know next year when they make announcements on how the then AI is better than this AI (hardware and software). For Mac its a different issue as its hardware is big and memory is sufficient to support basic AI for years to come unless there is a need of some specific hardware feature (NE cores, .. etc.). So buying MacBook Pro with anticipation of AI in future to work on it is still an acceptable hope than expecting it on a iPhone which is a locked device. All devices today are locked by manufacturers and we think we buy it. If the manufacturer decides to stop a particular version of OS or update or releases updates that slows it down or whatever then most apps (important ones like bank, payment, ID, CC, ..etc.) will stop working thereby forcing us to upgrade or buy anyway. So chill, we do not own any device Apple or otherwise. And the best strategy is to pay for what one might need for next 5 years (approx) and never look at their marketing to get fooled or swayed into spending.
So basically the same phone as last one with an extra camera button. Also Apple as a company is not known for their AI capabilities, so not sure their "Apple intelligence" will be anything impressive too.
Watched the event. Whilst a decent spec bump, still cannot justify upgrading my 13.
Still very fast, able to record video in 4K and battery life good.
smart
Go ahead and get the upgrade. It will be worth it.
Very true.

@@miltonwilliams2399he literally said he can’t justify the upgrade and neither can I from my 13 Pro Max tbh. It’s still a beast
Have an Iphone 12, battery is getting bad again after replacing last year. I think its time for an upgrade and will go for a pro this time.

Well yea of course.
Same
Same and considering a switch to Samsung, Apples innovation is non existent

“Our biggest display ever”
“Powered by our fastest chip ever”
“Best battery life in any iPhone ever”

I’m done with 13 pro max. Hello iPhone 16 pro max. Preordering Friday. Best battery ever. Let’s see
Imagine using the action button to open camera now 💀

Have a 15 Pro Max, waiting 5 years .
Only reason I’m upgrading from my 15pro is because I need a bigger battery.
Get a power bank anker makes some good ones
Better luck next year Apple
if you were to get the pro model, which color would you go for?
I think I may go white this time.

@@colin6711 absolutely I wouldn’t expect any different. They didn’t say they tried something new with the finish to help that.
I have a base iphone 11 128gb , should i upgrade to a 16 pro 256 gb?
Love the upgrades, but 14 in my pocket works just fine.
Could you do the 12 pro upgrade vid for this

Dog recognition is the selling point this year 🎉🎉
Upgrading since I still have the iPhone 14 Pro Max
Apple is spending $30B this year on R&D. I expect and hope they understand pocket picture protection 😊
Got to get a new iPhone for status sake!😊
3:34 iPhone 17 graphics wow what a mistake but I know you meant iPhone 15
it happens
U looking healthy 😮
