How NBA offenses got impossible to defend | Drawing Board

For four straight seasons from 2010 to 2013, no team in the NBA averaged 110 points per game. The 2014-15 Warriors did on their way to the title, then the Thunder joined them the following season. Then four teams hit that scoring pace in 2016-17.
In the 2017-18 season? We're up to six teams, and before you accuse everyone in the NBA of being lazy on defense (you're going to, I know) there's a good reason behind all this offense: SPACE.
