this is definitely a bit of a stretch, but maybe the little room that figure peeks out of when you open the gate at door 100 would be remade to be a corridor which leads all the way back to the secret room in room 99
5:45 Perhaps these subfloors will gain a checkpoint? such as being able to just skip to them with the elevator feature or just being able to click "play again" This could be a combination with your lore room idea as well, imagine an entire sub-floor with a lore focus.
Another subfloor would make sense if The Hotel didn’t already have one I believe it was Redibles who stated they would give The Mines its own subfloor, so having a second one accessible through The Hotel makes no sense logically
@@Gamerwhisk We have no clue if the fire in the Electrical Room spread anywhere except The Electrical Room And even then, we would be getting to the theoretical subfloor through these double doors before we set fire to anything
i looked and readed other theories after mixing their cookings into one dish meal, i have this.. theory: if the mines have a subfloor from floor 1 it could be that its a subfloor going under thru the greenhouse like the Backdoors but for mines or a shortcut under the greenhouse to door 99. However, it could be both, after we unlock the basement under the courtyard maybe were gonna have a secret entrance under the greenhouse with stuff castles themed like in floor 2 ending but leads to 2 things such as it ends when u reach the last door and exiting the big door at 99 or at the end of that "subfloor" we can go to the Mines early without dealing with Figure to that elevator.. 3 things to note: -There are 2 elevator places in the entrance of mines as u can see theres another place elevator entrance but the other elevator was not there, this could mean that there is another way to the mines but the Other Way Around .. -This could be of a chance of Mischievious Light/Red Light appearing as ur guide in that subfloor and the 3rd of "The Three Architects that assists you." we will probably have new entities but how Red Light works is maybe of lying to you, Ex: "You survived to {entity name}! Don't hide from it, its friendly!" -We need to defeat The Mines so we can unlock that secret entrance in that ending of the under Greenhouse that leads to that big door from door 99 to that other elevator that leads to The Mines, its probably locked by Mischievious Light like the lobby to the backdoor that is blocked by Curious Light wanting us to go to the Rooms first. Conclusion: The Mines Subfloor from Floor 1 Basement Courtyard to the Underground side of the Greenhouse is gonna something like the Backdoors, but you have to defeat The Mines so u can skip floor 100 to The Mines early, if u haven't.. then u exit that big door from door 99.
The new cheddar balls intro is actually goated. Maybe make a mines one for mines videos and hotel ones for hotel videos. Just a thought. Still love it!
Thats actually a good idea. Trade the regeneration for a big skip to the end, without having to worry about snares and eyes would be huge for speedrunners or people doing not five stars.
If the vines boss is real. Then the courtyard secret room will have a key that is covered with vines. And when you get to door 99, there's the door with a lock covered with vines.
My theory is that they could add a lap system like pizza tower that I like to call "Double or Nothing", once gotten through the secret door at door 99, you are sent back to an earlier room (example: Door 51) and continue the game again like a new run, but when u get sent back the game will tell you "Knobs have been increased 10x". this meaning that you can earn more knobs by just re-doing a chunk of the game, and you can stack this infinitely! With this change (because knobs are more obtainable now) Pre-Run shop items will go up in value. That's just the concept but in game once you open the secret door, a regular door will be in front of you, but instead of the numbers, it has the text: "Double or Nothing". The player will then have to walk up to the door and hold (like the Rooms) and once "opened" guiding light will teleport you to door 51 (that is just an example they could send you back as far as they want). But that's just my theory.
It's a secret door, but I'll also share what I saw in that room. So, I reached the Door 99, and the game didn't load fast enough because of my internet making me see through because the door didn't load. What I saw is just drawers. It doesn't have a purpose yet but maybe in the future.
my guess is as good as yours about those rooms, all those possibilities might be true, but there's an idea i had after reading some comments of other people. What if the player will be able to go in the basement and from there go through a different set of 90-99 doors and then come out from the door in room 99? offering an alternative to the greenrooms path, they could give these 9 rooms different threats, so a player can choose between those and the greenrooms
@@0skaroooolol I feel like Seek’s second chase wasn’t as good or exciting as it should be, as once you actually get to that point in the game you’ll already have had a strategy to consistently find the correct door in every fork room. Maybe it could be themed around the Electrical Room. Since this is the Greenhouse, we could have Snare occasionally spawn (every room opens with a lightning strike in the Seek chase, so there would be a brief flash where you can see everything), which would probably be difficult. They could also have Dupe in the fork rooms. I was thinking that it could also have the oil fires similar to the one that startles Figure could be added, and maybe the last room could have a room where you jump on top of the hanging lights, following Guiding Light to find which ones are safe to step on and which ones will fall if you jump on them. Plus, this would make Seek match up with Figure in the number of non-boss encounters.
@@HungryWardenGotta agree on that it isnt much diffrent from the 1st one. Additionally on floor 2 the second seek isnt even that hard since theres enough time to turn around and continue, guiding light can be annoyng to follow but as i said its not hard to just turn around and get past it. In my opinion the second seek is just worse on both floors as the first seek on floor one is easy, becouse its the first encounter of him And on floor two the jumping on seek isnt that hard but you have to time it right and the minecart ride is fun in my opinion. I was saying hes important as of floor 2 where he has the final boss fight and is in the ending
i saw behind the courtyard secret door. it was a glitch where it was pushed forward and i could see behind it, its just a bunch of lockers and a sewer door
I feel like when you are at door 269 - 280 you will be able to unlock it in floor 3 to make a short cut from door 99 to door 200 it would be good when you did not want to beat floor 2 and get loot from floor 1 to floor 3
I think the reason there are gold hot spots are because El Goblino cannot find these spots, as present in modifiers, "El Goblino on break" makes more gold appear too.
Maybe this subfloor takes you to door 151 which (if you remember) there is a sewer with a liana holding a lamp (maybe you'd come out of that sewer after u complete the subfloor
4:34 i have a theory in the end of floor 2 we ge on a castle right? And the two doors look very similar so what if floor 3 Will start in the green house and we have to go to door 100 and go down the stairs where the rift is and then floor 3 starts
The room in the courtyard may lead to a rare item or something because one time when I entered the courtyard it was a "dark room" and the guiding light highlighted the basement door
Hey, I just discovered something, in floor 2, in the doors where you need to get fuses to turn on the generator, the fuses has always 3 colors, red, blue, and yellow. Representing guiding, curious, and the third mischievous light
I have a theory for the courtyard basement. I personally think they would add some sort if puzzle in there like the library and having the code be outside in the actual courtyard. Opening the basement secret door could unleash some sort of plant unity ti roam the courtyard making it harder to find the clues. After solving the puzzle you would gain access to a shortcut skipping some, or all of the greenhouse and the other secret door could even be the exit. I know this is an unlikely theory, but it would be cool to see in game, because it would be entirely optional and make use of the space in the courtyard
I agree though, its possible that there could be a sub boss, giving an important item in return that you can put in the rift. As the door in the courtyard basement could be the entrance, and the large door in door 99 being the exit.
something that people aren’t talking about is the big vine, if you go to the left side of the courtyard you will see a fence, looking beyond this fence you can see a big vine with red spikes coming out of it, strengthening the “plant boss” theory
on floor 2, with generators there are the three bulbs a blue one for guiding light. a yellow one for curious light. and a red one for the modifier light.
Theory for the door at 99: When you reach the area of the mines just before door101, you will notice that there's a space for one more elevator just right to the elevator which was freefalling. If it hadn't been for Figure, I think we would have actually escaped from this entire place and its floors after conquering the Hotel which would be this story's ending, I believe. (There must be a floor in between the hotel and the mines which would help us in escaping) So here's the theory now, that room must have the puzzles and the keys for that second elevator. And this time, nothing would come for us so the second elevator would probably be the key to this story's ending.
I belive that the secret gate in door 99 might be like a expansion to door 100 because they look simular and might connect to eachother to make the figure (boss) map bigger and not like 2 rooms and a hallway
My theory is that the big door in door 99 might be a secret entrance to the nest. When i went up to the door i heard a sound similar to a grumble searching.
when i saw the 99 door thingy i thought it was a way to go to floor three considering it has a brick outline, i thought it was like "hey you already beat floor 2 (if you did get the badge for it) if you wanna skip it in this run just go through here", also makes sense considering it was a vine door before i thought the devs went like "oh crap we need to use this door for floor 3 and because we are allowing access to shears in floor 1 you can just skip floor 2 and it wouldnt make sense!" so they changed it, idk just a thought
Guys hear me out: if you have a lighter and shears, you should be able to cut thick vines via heating the shears (the thick vines are very thick [no shit] and have leaves) take
Because there are meat piles in the gated of area in the Courtyard Basement, I think that path might be how Figure gets from Door 50 to Door 100. Small but could be accurate theory.
And because you can look through the crack in the door and see flickering light like the ones in the Electrical Room, it might be the way the path in the gated off area, which I’m theorizing to be Figure’s way from getting from Door 50 to Door 100, it might just be saying that that’s the end of the path to the Electrical Room considering its literally in the room before the Electrical Room.
The gate door at room 99 looks kinda like the floor 3 castle gate. So maybe going through it would bring you to floor 3? Like maybe if you beat floor 2, the gate at room 99 would be open and you could go straight to floor 3.
maybe the room 99 secret room IS a new subfloor, but if you die in it instead of getting sent to door 1, you get kicked out and can still beat the game, but cannot attempt the subfloor again that attempt
I never noticed these secret rooms but now that they have been mentioned I might be able to tweek my theories a bit to fit them into them. An idea I had (tho highly unlikely) is that it may be like a subtunnel that goes through the hotel but in the walls of it (could explain the scratching and strange ambience and maybe even dupes new room) And this is where the unlikely theory is but maybe after door 50 figure ends up finding a hidden entrance to this tunnel that leads all the way to door 100. But I also have a theory that maybe Jeff's room is linked to this subtunnel and that's the route Jeff and the gang take to get to floor 2? Again I'm new to these rooms but I was just throwing something till it sticks lmao. If u disagree feel free to tell me why lol
@@Helldiver-710 you know that strange music that plays sometimes in the hotel, something i noticed is that after its finished you hear something dragging like the instrument is being dragged across the floor somehow. Its probably nothing, but just something i noticed

hear me out: the floor 3 first locked doors might need to find a lever or a broken lever that needs to be repaired or replace the wooden part of it (end of theory) also the gates off doors might have a permanent speed buff like another herb but red or any other colour
The secret door at door 99 could lead to a new subfloor, but after visiting it once, you can unlock the ability to CREATE an elevator to the subfloor instead of going to door 99 everytime. (Theory)
I have an idea though it is farfetched, what if its an alternate greenhouse route you can take instead of the greenhouse being harder in some aspects but easier in others, so in the greenhouse you can pick a preferred route
i have my own theory for the 99 door, after we are done with the castle or possibly more, there will be a boss and after deafeating, the path would unlock and this door is our return to the hotel, so we have to complete the hotel backwarts, but with new entitys and more dangerous rooms, and a longer seek chase
Somehow i think those two mysterious Doors are connected like it be some sort of shortcut to Door 100 quick Would be a nice detail since you need one objective to get in thats just a guess
I think the garden basement thing.. its gonna be a sub room in the future, another mini area, like the rooms, but- not 1000 doors, like another 50 doors, but the red light is there. (The name mischievous light isnt canon, so its just the red light for now) with new entitys, and theres a special item at the end, like the backdoor. Thats some kind of buff, idk what it could be.
my guess is that the blocked off door in the basement is gonna give u a lever to open the door at room 99 and it will lead u to some kind of secret floor like the backdoors
That’s the same door figure comes through after the puzzle what I think is he fell out the window the smashed through the greenhouse window the barged through the the big doors and through the small doors then chased us to the elevator to floor 2
5:38 objection: if this possible subfloor is going to be something meant for more skilled players, the problem is inexistent as a single hotel run for experienced players can last very little
I think that its going to be the final of te new chapter of doors like the castle you will finish it with entering that doors and repeat doors 1 *THEORY*
I think the basement might be where the entities were kept, but they broke free from their tomb, wreaking havoc. Same with door 99, mabye the cord was turned on, preventing them from escaping. But the cord was turned off.
I know it's unrelated but it would be very cool if the floor 2 subfloor which is confirmed would be garden themed with snares and new similar entities and also maybe that snare boss you talked about in previous video
Last theory(it's about your vid)3:29,hmmm...I think it's connected to door 100,where you need to find the swithches;mmm...it may have possible that it is another update that the door 100 may block by something and you need to go to that door 'cause it is connected to 100 or you can go every door like,if you're in danger to figure, you go to the safe zone at door 99 so figure would not catch you. That's it
Maybe that gate at door 99 leads to another boss fight, it could be for another way to escape the hotel... Or just to a new item witch i think you would have a certain requirement to get...
Theory i cooked: We werent supposed to even be in the doors universe but one day we ended up in The Backdoor and our *curiosity* made us go thru the whole thing then we entered the hotel which we were still curious of this place so we finished that but when we tried to go up to The Castle figure brought us down, which might mean we werent supposed to go to the mines we were supposed to go to The Castle. And maybe that room at Door 99 is a Castle Shortcut that we were supposed to go thru but it was blocked off
The door 99 room may lead to floor 3,if u dont have see you soon,it is blocken off by modifier light/mischevious light. It also has castle looking doors thats why i think its a shortcut.if u have see you soon,u will be able to open it. And if u open the metal door,it will put u in a skip intermission type thing, when u load in,there may be a door in the floor 3 door 0 room, which leads the shortcut to floor 3,when u go through the shortcut to floor 3,the ML will block u from going back to floor 1. I don’t really think this will happen, but what if when you beat higher floors you could unlock secret areas/routes in other floors. For example: what if when you beat floor 3 you could unlock a secret route to somewhere in door 99
maybe it could be unlocked with an achievement, much like the backdoor. because redibles did say they wanna make achievements not just useless collectibles.
@@TheRealFedriko yeah
this is definitely a bit of a stretch, but maybe the little room that figure peeks out of when you open the gate at door 100 would be remade to be a corridor which leads all the way back to the secret room in room 99
wait, but why would you wanna go back?
@@Mr_Eggz For the secret room, duh.

Perhaps these subfloors will gain a checkpoint? such as being able to just skip to them with the elevator feature or just being able to click "play again"
This could be a combination with your lore room idea as well, imagine an entire sub-floor with a lore focus.
Another subfloor would make sense if The Hotel didn’t already have one
I believe it was Redibles who stated they would give The Mines its own subfloor, so having a second one accessible through The Hotel makes no sense logically
Idk because we burnt it down last floor
@@Gamerwhisk We have no clue if the fire in the Electrical Room spread anywhere except The Electrical Room
And even then, we would be getting to the theoretical subfloor through these double doors before we set fire to anything
i looked and readed other theories after mixing their cookings into one dish meal, i have this..
theory: if the mines have a subfloor from floor 1 it could be that its a subfloor going under thru the greenhouse like the Backdoors but for mines or a shortcut under the greenhouse to door 99.
3 things to note:
-There are 2 elevator places in the entrance of mines as u can see theres another place elevator entrance but the other elevator was not there, this could mean that there is another way to the mines but the Other Way Around ..
-This could be of a chance of Mischievious Light/Red Light appearing as ur guide in that subfloor and the 3rd of "The Three Architects that assists you." we will probably have new entities but how Red Light works is maybe of lying to you, Ex: "You survived to {entity name}! Don't hide from it, its friendly!"
-We need to defeat The Mines so we can unlock that secret entrance in that ending of the under Greenhouse that leads to that big door from door 99 to that other elevator that leads to The Mines,
its probably locked by Mischievious Light like the lobby to the backdoor that is blocked by Curious Light wanting us to go to the Rooms first.
Conclusion: The Mines Subfloor from Floor 1 Basement Courtyard to the Underground side of the Greenhouse is gonna something like the Backdoors, but you have to defeat The Mines so u can skip floor 100 to The Mines early, if u haven't.. then u exit that big door from door 99.
jeez...m essay must be done by you
The new cheddar balls intro is actually goated. Maybe make a mines one for mines videos and hotel ones for hotel videos. Just a thought. Still love it!
I think what the secret door below the courtyard would be a way to skip the greenhouse using a skeleton key to open it
Thats actually a good idea. Trade the regeneration for a big skip to the end, without having to worry about snares and eyes would be huge for speedrunners or people doing not five stars.
@@justsir8076and hotel hell
pretty good idea, but I don't think so.
the plant that regenerates your HP is MEANT to be for the green house.
@@ImNotPSP I know that why you use the skeleton key on the door instead of the plant or viceversa
@@justsir8076 exactly
My theory is that at the big door at room 99 leads to the castle that will be in floor 3.
I don’t think so
That makes no sense
If the vines boss is real. Then the courtyard secret room will have a key that is covered with vines. And when you get to door 99, there's the door with a lock covered with vines.
I remember when you only had 6,000 subs. You just keep getting better, bro. :D
My theory is that they could add a lap system like pizza tower that I like to call "Double or Nothing", once gotten through the secret door at door 99, you are sent back to an earlier room (example: Door 51) and continue the game again like a new run, but when u get sent back the game will tell you "Knobs have been increased 10x". this meaning that you can earn more knobs by just re-doing
a chunk of the game, and you can stack this infinitely! But that's just my theory.
how would this make sense lorewise???
@@TheRealJ1 idk honestly, but how do modifiers work lorewise aswell? so if those work lorewise than this could work too.
@@RedPoggersMan mischievous light, havent you watched game theory??
@@TheRealJ1 I have, it still can work if you think about it.
@@RedPoggersMan that wont work at all, sorry if ur a really big fan of pizza tower but it doesnt make sense at all for it to be that.
Extremely difficult Seek chase maybe? To remind you that Seek is still with you after the second chase?
@@HungryWarden That would make sense as seek is really important
In my opinion the second seek is just worse on both floors as the first seek on floor one is easy, becouse its the first encounter of him
And on floor two the jumping on seek isnt that hard but you have to time it right and the minecart ride is fun in my opinion.
I was saying hes important as of floor 2 where he has the final boss fight and is in the ending
@@HungryWardenAlso that harder seek idea is awesome
i saw behind the courtyard secret door. it was a glitch where it was pushed forward and i could see behind it, its just a bunch of lockers and a sewer door

Someone should try to find a way to glitch to that door
no point. it doesn't have anything unusual.
Finally I found someone that's talking about the door 99 thing.
4:34 i have a theory in the end of floor 2 we ge on a castle right? And the two doors look very similar so what if floor 3 Will start in the green house and we have to go to door 100 and go down the stairs where the rift is and then floor 3 starts
You’re my favorite Doors RUclipsr. Don’t give up. You will be famous one day!
Representing guiding, curious, and the third mischievous light
third light is the modifers'
meat in the locked off basement area prolly means this was the alternate path that figure took to door 100
Bro i literally love your videos sm keep up good work
Cheddar balls, you are my best theorist to watch (Cut my words down to a simple version and basically I'm saying your cool)
doors is one of the best horror games ive ever played
Currently behind the door are two closets, those planters things but empty, and a blocked door
The door in door 99 has a very door 100 feel to it, so maybe in a future update, door. 100 gets expanded even more?
Safe to say this man is NOT going back to bear videos…
As the door in the courtyard basement could be the entrance, and the large door in door 99 being the exit.
i think it could still be an alt floor, except its one you unlock, like how getting Detour lets you enter the Backdoor freely
something that people aren’t talking about is the big vine, if you go to the left side of the courtyard you will see a fence, looking beyond this fence you can see a big vine with red spikes coming out of it, strengthening the “plant boss” theory
on floor 2, with generators there are the three bulbs a blue one for guiding light. a yellow one for curious light. and a red one for the modifier light.
My idea is there may be 2 challenges: the normal greenhouse or maybe another equally difficult sub room area that leads through the door in 99.
I think the door at door 99 is how Figure got back to the electrical room after jumping out a window.
Theory for the door at 99:
When you reach the area of the mines just before door101, you will notice that there's a space for one more elevator just right to the elevator which was freefalling. If it hadn't been for Figure, I think we would have actually escaped from this entire place and its floors after conquering the Hotel which would be this story's ending, I believe. (There must be a floor in between the hotel and the mines which would help us in escaping)
So here's the theory now, that room must have the puzzles and the keys for that second elevator.
Guys hear me out: if you have a lighter and shears, you should be able to cut thick vines via heating the shears (the thick vines are very thick [no shit] and have leaves) take
i think the room 99 secret door might lead to a sub level but gives an achievement like detour that allows access to the level again afterwards
The extra gold in the courtyard basement is useful because more gold gives you extra knobs.
I never noticed these secret rooms but now that they have been mentioned I might be able to tweek my theories a bit to fit them into them. An idea I had (tho highly unlikely) is that it may be like a subtunnel that goes through the hotel but in the walls of it (could explain the scratching and strange ambience and maybe even dupes new room)
And this is where the unlikely theory is but maybe after door 50 figure ends up finding a hidden entrance to this tunnel that leads all the way to door 100. But I also have a theory that maybe Jeff's room is linked to this subtunnel and that's the route Jeff and the gang take to get to floor 2? Again I'm new to these rooms but I was just throwing something till it sticks lmao. If u disagree feel free to tell me why lol
Damn I wrote alot 💀
el goblino was the one scratching and banging on walls his text confirmed it i think
@@WickedSauce_73 no no ik but that can also maybe prove the existence of these subtunnels which connect the hotel together
@@Helldiver-710 you know that strange music that plays sometimes in the hotel, something i noticed is that after its finished you hear something dragging like the instrument is being dragged across the floor somehow. Its probably nothing, but just something i noticed
@@MghsLkgditd huh that's interesting. I haven't rlly picked that up before. I think it's just for ambience and probably hold no lore implications sadly
hear me out: the floor 3 first locked doors might need to find a lever or a broken lever that needs to be repaired or replace the wooden part of it (end of theory) also the gates off doors might have a permanent speed buff like another herb but red or any other colour
Mary juana
after you beat the snare boss it should definitely open a new subfloor that acts similar to the backdoor, being accessible through the elevator menu
The secret door at door 99 could lead to a new subfloor, but after visiting it once, you can unlock the ability to CREATE an elevator to the subfloor instead of going to door 99 everytime. (Theory)
It might be a new sidequest that’s currently being made.
I saw how it looks like there
1. It has 3 closets
2. It has a greenhouse table
3. It has a doors without a number
Somehow i think those two mysterious Doors are connected like it be some sort of shortcut to Door 100 quick
Would be a nice detail since you need one objective to get in thats just a guess
Thats some kind of buff, idk what it could be.
my guess is that the blocked off door in the basement is gonna give u a lever to open the door at room 99 and it will lead u to some kind of secret floor like the backdoors
it would be cool if at floor 3 or one of the final floors would end with you opening that big door, leading right back to floor 1.
I was searching for it but nothing on RUclips other than you
Maybe in future updates that large door at door 99 will be where you exit the rooms if you reach A-1000
i think door at room 99 is like something that would be shortcut to floor 3, just harder than floor 2 or just something like backdoor but for floor 2
That’s the same door figure comes through after the puzzle what I think is he fell out the window the smashed through the greenhouse window the barged through the the big doors and through the small doors then chased us to the elevator to floor 2
no, figure climbed back up through another broken window.
Congratulations on 10k
What about it looking similar to the castle door (maybe being a shortcut with a few greenhouse-like rooms or something)

Doubt all the entities would fit in there.
I know it's unrelated but it would be very cool if the floor 2 subfloor which is confirmed would be garden themed with snares and new similar entities and also maybe that snare boss you talked about in previous video
Last theory(it's about your vid)3:29,hmmm...I think it's connected to door 100,where you need to find the swithches;mmm...it may have possible that it is another update that the door 100 may block by something and you need to go to that door 'cause
it is connected to 100 or you can go every door like,if you're in danger to figure, you go to the safe zone at door
99 so figure would not catch you. That's it
Maybe that gate at door 99 leads to another boss fight, it could be for another way to escape the hotel...
And maybe that room at Door 99 is a Castle Shortcut that we were supposed to go thru but it was blocked off
I predict that for the basement blocked off with guiding light might be door 61
It can be like the rooms part, but leading to Pressure
The door 99 room may lead to floor 3,if u dont have see you soon,it is blocken off by modifier light/mischevious light. It also has castle looking doors thats why i think its a shortcut.if u have see you soon,u will be able to open it. And if u open the metal door,it will put u in a skip intermission type thing, when u load in,there may be a door in the floor 3 door 0 room, which leads the shortcut to floor 3,when u go through the shortcut to floor 3,the ML will block u from going back to floor 1. But thats just a theory...
