That time the tranport was not at all motorised. Only steam engine driven trains were running. Mostly people used to travel in horse driven carriages, bullock carts, and traveling in vessels to Myanmar. The communication system was not advanced too. Hats off to this legendary Bengali sleuth solving crimes amidst such a setup. 😊 Priyonath Mukherjee should have been awarded Nighthood.
