I think Texas is far better choice as they don't have State tax, frenchise tax and annual renewal fees. And with LLC it would be very difficult to open physical bank account for Foreign owners unless all the members are present in the US

You don't need USA address for Amazon, actually they insist to provide them with your actual address from your country and bank statement is just fine to get approved. If you are single member LLC you are not consider company/business at Amazon, you are considered as an Individual.

I am thinking that it may be safer long term in case any countries get on the black list of the banks. But does it have any tax implications?

Yeah 30% but depends of your broker and tax treaty it can be lowered. my broker taxes me 15%, I'm european.
