Once a thirsty ant fell into a river while drinking water. It was being carried away with the current and it started shouting fr help. A dove sitting on the branch of a tree heard the cries and flew down. It dropped a leaf in the water and the ant climbed on it and reached safely to the shore. The ant thanked the dove profusely for saving her life. Some days later the ant was looking for food when she saw a hunter aiming an arrow on the dove sitting on a branch, dozing. The ant went and stung the hunter on his leg. The hunter missed his aim and the dove was saved. The dove understood the situation and thanked the ant for saving its life. They became friends. One selfless act of kindness always pays off.
