Not a lowrider but I have a restored 1974 Sting-Ray De-Luxe. It does have some custom stuff like tailpipes, a velvet seat, and a headlight with the visor, but other than that, it's simple, No twisted stuff or birdcage. It's mostly what you would call a Luxury Muscle bike. The only kind of fancy metal is twisted sissy bars on my winter commuter - - 1975 Schwinn Bantam. That's more of a hot rod because it came with normal bars and a standard saddle, but I had to give it that custom touch.
It makes me so happy to see good men looking out for the well-being of young men. And to help encourage them to grow up and be better men and to contribute to society! God Bless Big Brother Lowriders!
There's an old saying I heard once "why start a fire just to burn something when you could use it to feed your family". In essence, don't apply or do things in your life that is not going to benefit you when you could start something to bring something positive and beneficial to your life. We need more men like this, it is missing in today's society. Just someone to pull you out of what you're doing an show you some real stuff you can take with through your life and maybe teach another going through similar aspects in life. Peace homies! just my dollar in a bucket of change✌.

I've seen my cousin struggle and I've seen him flourish. Life hasn't been too forgiving but everything happens for a reason. He had to go through all those obstacles to get where he is today. And those obstacles never stop but he doesn't stop either. He's stubborn and he's gona fight tooth and nail to beat them. Him being able to show a group of youngin's how to work hard on building their bike and him simply taking the time to help teach them is priceless. He talks to these young ones about so much. I've seen him show them how to approach and talk to people in an appropriate manner. How to be respectful around their elders. To walk away from situations that won't have a good outcome in the end. I mean the list is endless. I'm very proud of my cousin and I'm proud of everything he does for them and the knowledge he passes on to these young ones 💯❤
Now THIS is a cool bike project. It’s amazing to see low riding branching all the way to Idaho, and the impact it’s had on lives there. I first learned about lowriders from Great Big Story, it seems to be such a niche, dedicated but fragile community. Massive props to these guys for not only keeping it alive, but also using it for the good of their local youth and community. I wish them all the best! 🙏
