@@ColeChickering Victoria has books too!!!im so gald you are uploading these videos! When I first learned about the magazine I watched all that was available on RUclips and today I thought I’ll give it another search and here you are!
That was crazy about the American Spoon article! I would've lost it if your Dad was pictured making some jam! Gosh, I love these Victoria flip throughs, thank you for whisking us away to a frilly, floral and hat filled wonderland with every issue! 💐👒🙏🏻
I worked at the American Spoon café for one summer making coffee and serving gelato! I love American Spoon, wish I could get their jams and preserves more easily.
Hi Cole! I wanted those Lenox spice houses so bad! I ended up getting the one that came out after that, bottles in a rack with a painting of each herb on it but those houses were so cute!!
Hi Tina - I bet your bottles are pretty cute too! We just have our spices in their ugly store bought plastic bottles, not very cute or whimsical. Maybe one day....
@@ColeChickering True Confession - the bottles are empty!! I have never used them! They have been hanging on the wall in my kitchen for years as a decoration LMAO! We also have our spices in a cabinet in their ugly store bought plastic bottles too.
yess another one of these! to be fair, grey is a genetics thing not an age thing but yes, I would assume the target audience is older folks reminiscing about their youth heh isn’t that fascinating that the elderly (in their 80s and end of it specifically) were old enough to live through the turn of the century! 89 in 1989 means born in 1900 which means the last full year of the victorian era (Queen Victoria died three weeks into 1901) and anyone 93 and up at that point would remember the victorian era! I love all the rooms and items (or almost) and clothing in there (that was a big collar though lol) yep dutch door and bishop sleeve lol to me it’s all purple lol lighter and darker purple but still purple, idk about this whole violet lilac mauve etc stuff it’s called a princess line dress if it’s bitter around the bum carpet coat perhaps or just a knit one? walking stick not cane books used to look/be so beautiful… I’ve never heard of American Spoon or any of that but I love it! read the paragraphs lol it’s the history of that school and it’s interesting at least to me because I want to start a school someday pretty mattresses are dumb because you still need to cover them with the bedding and bedbug plastic if you don’t live in a detached house but sometimes even then I still wish the victorian era would return perhaps as an updated version… I don’t think you’ll be selling this one forward :p and I loved your stories heh have a great week and looking forward to your reply too!(:
I never thought about readers potentially having a personal lifespan connection to the actual Victorian area… an interesting idea, and could be possible!
Allow me to softly collapse in bed of happiness. You've opened my eyes to Victoria magazine, for this I am eternally grateful. Very demure
The MOST demure! 🫖
well said, good incentive to bring back the victorian era, don’t you find?

I never knew that a magazine could have the energy that it voted for Reagan.
Victoria did a write-in ballot specifically for Nancy Reagan. 🚩

Wow, small world! The exclusivity of their products is surely part of the ✨allure✨

@@tinahealy-leather1772Ha!! Thanks for your transparency. I’m sure they stay extra clean and presentable that way 🏠
Omg those spice jars are super expensive now!
I see them floating around occasionally at thrift stores, but it's always just 1 sad little orphaned spice house.

it’s called a princess line dress if it’s bitter around the bum
carpet coat perhaps or just a knit one?
walking stick not cane
books used to look/be so beautiful…
I’ve never heard of American Spoon or any of that but I love it!
read the paragraphs lol it’s the history of that school and it’s interesting at least to me because I want to start a school someday
