These clips are amazing, but what I found most impressive about Neuro (aside from how well she resists obvious bait like asking about leaders of Germany or her whereabouts on Edgy Date Here, that usually doesn't even make it through to her and there's obviously a kill switch set up just-in-case) is how well she holds up in long-form streaming. By that I don't mean she's flawless or indistinguishable from a player, but her conversational system especially is robust and reactive. Her Minecraft gameplay, well, she's an osu bot trying to play with the raindrops in the sky and nearly drowning, but even that's part of the show. It's an impressive proof of concept.

@@dra6o0n Project Zomboid seems like it would be a bit difficult; your parameters gradually change as you hit more things, hop more fences, etc., so the AI might never 'learn' it can do certain things which take higher stats to do, since it would be accustomed to playing as if it didn't yet have those stats. But I'm no AI engineer so idk

And the only AI which can somewhat pull it off is way more advanced than what you could quickly create with Tensorflow. Come back when your AI has developed a machine learning algorithm from scratch capable of operation on a distributed network and production of AI as advanced as the AI that created it.

Vedal put some text in recent Minecraft streams that he's working on having Neuro sama react to Minecraft. I guess the question will be how robust that will end up being. the AI is clearly able to read/respond to chats sent in the Minecraft world, so there's at least already some connections made
@@drthmik yea, but you can still have them communicate between each other. Just depends on the structure. although having it say its intentions before doing them would be difficult as interpretability with AI is a pretty tricky thing to do.

Im just saying that its possible to have them communicate. it can still be two different AI models, but you can have them send information between each other so that the chat AI can react to whats happening in game without having to see the screen or anything by just getting information from the gameplaying AI.
The most similar real streamer to this that comes to mind is CaptainCuppyCake if someone interested. She's so likeable and entertaining to watch, although she's not full time steamer.

The AI basically plays the game and tries to understand what makes chat react in different ways. Throwing favored items and herself into lava gets a huge reaction.

It was really jittery in the early part of the stream, the movements smoothed out, but it still doesn't understand context or spatial awareness that well.
