Don't argue amongst yourselves
Because of the loss of me
I'm sitting amongst yourselves
Don't think you can't see me
Don't argue amongst yourselves
Because of the loss of me
I haven't gone anywhere
but out of my body
Reach out and you'll touch me
Make effort to speak to me
Call out and you'll hear me
Be happy for me
Don't argue amongst yourselves
Because of the loss of me
I haven't gone anywhere
but out of my body
Reach out and you'll touch me
Make effort to speak to me
Call out and you'll hear me
Be happy for me
Good luck to all my fellow Music GCSE students!
thanks man. I'm going to need a hella lot of luck
There are 2 types of comments on this video:
6 years ago- "I love this song!! It touches me because one of my relatives died!!"
1 week ago- "is anyone else here from music gcse"
fucking same
Louis Enright y u p
I just love it since I heard it in Stigmata.
what gcse means???
@@tingletangle1 *what does GCSE mean
It stands for General Certificate of Secondary Education. It's basically a set of official exams you take in the UK when you're 16
Had this played at my brother's funeral 2 months ago. The lyrics are very special as Afro Celts were the last live band we saw together a couple of weeks before he died.
Millie Tant Unsure if you will get this since it was written five years ago, but your comment blew me away as about a week ago I wrote a similar comment on another "Release" video, that I also had this played at MY brother's funeral. Sort of like deja vuish.
Nah fam
We must be HAPPY for them, reach out to them. Dont worry. .. we Will see them again!
I’m so sorry for you lost. I hope he will always be remembered 🙏.
Lovely
I never thought that two different music styles (African and Celtic) could be blended so well until I heard this band. I absolutely love them! This song is fantastic.
My daughter Rachel, a cancer patient met Sinead at O'Hare airport in '92. Rachel has passed on. This song helps me so much! Rachel thought it was cool to see another girl with no hair. ; )
Joel Heaton I am sorry for your loss. That must have been hard letting your daughter, Rachel, go.
Reach out and touch... be happy for her!!

Hi 👋🏼
Here
Whoever made the video was trippin' on serious LSD xD
my beloved got me into these-didnt read the words on his cd-beautiful vocals from sinead and it evokes so much emotion-now i know the words...well i am blown away.
stigmata is a great film and I love this song!!!
I thought i'd reply to a random 10 year old comment to see if i got a reply xD
@@zay-ju8fbchecking in from 2023, I loved this song from the Stigmata soundtrack! ❤️ Also Sinead O Connor just passed RIP... 😢
I saw them in Seattle at the Showbox in 2000 and they were spectacular - it was a wonderful show. Even without Sinead O'Connor their performance was one I will never forget. This is the first time I've ever known there was a video for the song and I'm so glad it's as beautiful as the song is.
so this is what needing glasses looks like
Pretty much
lmao
Ffs the amount of times I’ve had to analyse this for music class....
Remembering my beautiful son Joe on this day... 13 years since his passing. His spirit lives on through the music xxx
46jgodfrey go ed mate x
Nah fam he dead
Wow. This is epic for many reasons. The film Stigmata brought me here I never knew the soundtrack. But wish I did when I saw the movie in theaters. Wicked. ✊

Me:Inforkunoooooo
After all these years, this song still moves me.
And what about now?
Both the original version (same as this one but longer) and an instrumental version (called "Release It") are on the album Volume 2: Release
They are also available on iTunes.
I wish the band was still together. Sadly after they fulfilled their 5 album contract with the studio they stopped touring and recording. Here's hopping they create more of this beautiful music again someday.
This vid was put on RUclips in 2006 , 13th February. It was my second birthday:'D. Now I'm in y10, doing this song tomorrow for the exam . Wish me luck !!!:D
siempre en los altos vuelos y grandes ligas...genio musical...sineid...
A great video for this song. Today I feel like if I lost a very dear person, and this is the medicine I need for my Soul! This band is the best band in the world to me, and I love them to pieces. Sinead has the most awesome voice, and it's perfect with this type of music. Just awesome Irish music!
Hi 455.., It is so lovely to hear from some-one that knew my son Jo, to read your story and know that his memory lives on through this beautiful music. I'm just getting ready to visit his grave as it is his birthday today (9th February) - he would have been 41. I will give him your love.
If Sinead reads this, I thank you so much for this song. It has given me much consolation over the years, you really understand the meaning of loss.....thank you again x
And now Sinead is gone, too. I was just telling someone the story of how she came in to help the band deal better with his death with these amazing lyrics. And how she had reached out to you to better understand your son. She was so sensitive to the pain of others. RIP
I saw ACSS play in San Francisco in 2001. It was the penultimate concert of my life. The Fillmore levitated with love and rhythm. Such a perfect night and such a perfect band.
Another one of my favourites. this song and eireann give me chills. its such beautiful music.
define chills???
I saw them in concert; they blew me away.
L P lol answeing all thr comments
To those who already did their GCSE Music Exam:
Please reply with any questions that were asked in your papers. Big help, thx.
its fine you did it now
AfroCelt equates to spectacular world music. Celtic music with African beat, it's made for each other.
I love and own this song. Thanks for posting, reminded me to listen to a great song with great usage of instruments. Isn't it funny how Sinead sings well at just about everything?
what is this music video doing
can i just say i love the ps2 gameplay
music gcse actually got me into this band they are so good
Eve g you’re gay
The first time I heard this, I was stunned. What a unique sound. I love them, and have everything they have put out. Thanks for posting this.
Wow, I've loved this song for years since I got the Stigmata Soundtrack but I've never seen the video.
Now I love the song even more!

AfroCelt Sound System is an awesome band. Check out their other stuff!
GCSE music anyone? Who's glad it's over? 😥👋
I'm in year 10 and just starting it.
I still have mine to come
Year 11 now. I currently have a few months to go and its terrifying because the only damn song I know is Music for a While. And that is because the answers are generic.
@@infinitygames9317 i only get queen lol
I was glad when it was over, but now I miss it... I wish I could go back to those days
Have had this sone in my head for days after watchi8ng Stigmata twice.
Just brought the CD off e-bay. Can't wait til it get's here.
I loved this song at Stigmata film. Great movie, amazing soundtrack
Piis offf yooo art filme heepster
I never heard of this group until I saw this vid on MuchMusic's Cliptrip (miss that channel). Loved every minute of it.
Timeless!!
Here bc of gcse music and honesty idk why ppl hate this song so much! It's awesome
The track on the album is much longer. Saw them at the Royal Festival Hall in 2003. Fantastic.
It makes me sad how many people from GCSE music hate this song, like it's super interesting and different, what's the point of doing Music GCSE if you can't even appreciate different music?
i agree, i like all my set works
Thank you, and happy summersolstice:)
Don’t ever take music GCSE
thank moi later
It's not that bad!!
honestly purcell is way worse
Too late 😂
Damn too late

One of the best bands live you'll ever see.
how?
i've seen better on the streets

I never knew there was a video for this!
The original is much longer, and I must say, better...
At first i wasn't sure if I would like this song. But now I kind of like it.
Man This song is a proper Bop. Easily the best on the syllabus
Anyone know of a similar song that was played on MTV sometime arround 1997-1999?
Great song. . .first time listening. . .brilliant! : )
Song found on the movie "Stigmata". Fantastic.
Simply Beautiful.
Again she
Met my lovely daughter at O'Hare airport. On her way to Pittsburgh.
Irish twist with an international flavor. I like the remix also.
excellent. Rock On Sinead
the afro celt sound system just rules :)
I think that a lot of the lyrics of the song are biblical verses? It sounds like things that Jesus said to his disciples? At any rate - what a great song! It's one of my favorites from Afro Celt. Sinead pairs perfectly with them
i’m so grateful i dropped out of music gsce
