The chic can absolutely shred. She upped the entire tour for MGK and was likely the reason lots of people went to their shows. Lord knows MGK isn’t setting the world on fire with his instrumental or vocal skills.
Definitely not just a pretty face (although she's gorgeous, for sure)! I could listen to her play all day long. A truly incredible guitarist. I grew up during the hair band era of the 1980's and love this style of music. I was going to travel to London to see this show, but it was sold out! Thankfully, I'll see her at the Whiskey in LA in just a few months. Very much looking forward to it...
I thought the audio for Sophies set was brilliant, but the vocals were buried on Chez Kanes set for some reason. Even right at the front I could barely hear her.
@@caphowdy666 If you're right at the front at the Underworld you don't get the full sound, as the speakers are above you and the sound travels over your head...II learnt this when doing videos there
Unfortunately it's the positioning....the closer the stage you are the less sound you get from the speakers, as they are above and slightly forward of the stage. I've discovered this before at The UnderWorld....on my channel there's a few vids of Sophie if you'd like to check them out.

It's the sound from a phone camera! They capture sound in a very directional way.
