Even if you say yes that attack was about his body mass/weight more than anything. I think if Sanji's speed is actually enough to get some shots in through future sight he's prob winning, plus his fire would prob be pretty effective against mochi but I'm not fully convinced he's able to hit Kata in the first place. All I'm trying to say is that it's hard to gauge, there are a lot of factors up in the air. Luffy had top tier speed and durability back in whole cake and it wasn't til he could see the future too that he stood any chance. Sanji probably Haki blooms in a similar way to Luffy and gets the win IMO, high dif.
It's mostly because of something Luffy said that completely changes the way future sight works
In his fight with Kaido during the rooftop he states that "Even with future sight these guys are way too fast!"
This changes everything for Katakuri's agenda as Luffy in g4 Bounceman was speed blitzed by Base Kaido

Dodge his attack's and is fast enough to counter yet he's struggling against this base Kaido

Zoro was able to react clash and Damage Kaido
Later on Zoro fights King and struggles
Meanwhile earlier pre awakened Sanji was able to hold King and Queen By himself
This just makes Katakuri's 12 hours endurance fight look like ass because outside advanced Observation what does he have to win?
Sanji never actually has to fight YC1 opponents he just beats YC2 and below and people just pretend he’s zoro or sum. Wish people used sanjis feats in the story to scale him

@@zagessj why wouldn’t he be just stronger than Queen? He got 2 power ups in his fight with queen then passed out. His final attack was in fact while queen was attacking Osome but somehow that justifies how he’ll hit and beat king or Kat 1v1 even tho king is supposedly more durable than kaido and Kat has future sight. He has just never shown feats of being that strong yet can’t just say he’s that strong cuz zoro is.
But Sanji and Queen weren't on the same level, Sanji essentially, literally low dip Queen. He had no difficulty fighting Queen, his only barrier was being offensively strong to heavily damage through Queen's Ancient Zoan defense, that was it. Even before his Germa awakening, he didn't struggle against Queen. So that does not mean he is at the same level as YC2, it makes him above.
@@SirDave Did you forget Queen broke literally all of Sanji's bones in CH1028? If not for his Germa Awakening, Sanji would've died by then.
I love how when we scale guys like king, zoro, marco and sanji, we compare apples and oranges to put them above kat and call it good powerscaling. But God forbid it when we compare kaidos feats against snakeman to katakuri because thats BAD scaling to compare identical feats . From a narrative perspective, kat continues to be potrayed as above the rest of these guys.
