Ugly cry to me just sounds like something that just triggers many easily.
Many kids never grew up without any emotional to barely any support.

It's sickening but many children don't have anything emotional or "loving" even from dysfunctional family dynamics.
It isn't fair for these "kids" but most society doesn't care.
People like Bluey because it's either being cute or warm.

Yes, it's always the voice over the last clip that gets me. It dialogue is so simple yet profound, and the imagery is the same, coupled with the beautiful, sometimes epic music. The creators know what they're doing. Like in "Fairytale" when Bluey asks if it was true or not, and Bandit replies, "I don't know. Do you believe in fairytales?" and you see Bandit say "See you later" as young Chili runs off. Or Bandit's "This is heaven," in Flat Pack, or Chili's "Nah, it's not the room," in The Bedroom 🥺

I truly wish American media would create children's content that is so wholesome and entertaining. From the music to the animation, to the design, they didn't cut corners anywhere. I hope this show continues to go on and on. Disney is lucky to be its distributor. Yeah, I said it.

I'm surprised this one didn't make an appearance: the ending of Rug Island. It doesn't necessarily have a very deep hidden meaning, but seeing Bandit playing with the girls and getting accepted into their small island community, and then needing to leave. It's portrayed as being a very meaningful game between the three of them, so Bingo gives him one of the markers as a "good-bye" present. Chilli asks what she gave him, and Bandit stares at the marker before saying, "Everything," while watching the kids from the back porch. Hit me so unexpectedly and made me cry because of how sincere he was.

    • @Lycanthromancer1
      @Lycanthromancer1 8 месяцев назад +3

Note that the markers are used to build all sorts of things on the island. They're the vehicle for the kids' imaginations, allowing them to create everything they use for their games. And they teach their father how to use his imagination in ways he hasn't done since he was a pup. So when he says that what they gave him is "everything," he _means_ it.

Yoga Ball destroyed me... At the time, it was the first Bluey episode I shed tears to. The scene where Bingo hides under the bench in her backyard and tears up was a total whiplash to the times where I hid in my room as a kid to cry because of how hurt I was from my dad's words.

But then she finds a hurt bird laying in the grass. She and Bandit rush it to the vet, but sadly the little bird doesn’t make it. Bluey processes her emotions through play with Bingo, who winds up doing her own thing and ending the game not with death, but with her bird character thriving again. Bluey learns that there are sometimes things that you cannot control which helps her accept the little bird’s death.

Considering the fact that Brandy can't have a child, and looks almost identical to Bingo, must have put the thought in Chilli's head. That slide scene, is so real to me. My mom use to take me to the playground, and one day, she decided to hide while I was coming down the tube slide and I called out to her. No answer and when I climbed back up on to the top to look for her I couldn't find her. It felt like 15 minutes of me just waiting and looking for her and going back to the car and back. She finally came out when I started to cry and was about to "walk" home from memory, which had a highway involved. I asked my mom how she knew I was about to "walk" home. She said I was looking at the road and was reciting landmarks. Landmarks she never taught me but I had memory banked myself, but I ultimately never stepped away from the car because I was still afraid to cross the road at that age.

@@SCP01986Cruel? The mom was probably trying to play hide and seek. There's nothing cruel about that just because the child got confused and scared. The mom came out at the end and took them home.

    I love the list!
The camping episode with Jean-luc gets me to cry all the time and the sleepytime episode got my mom to tears
But I had no idea about Mackenzie...I share a very relatable event only I was left alone in a kiddie pool by my grandfather when I was a kid and left alone at martial arts class by him on many times and my teacher called my grandma ( whom was working ) to come get me...I can tell you it is very impactful and to this day I fear being left alone/abandoned

I cry so much during this show. I have ADHD and Jack's story hit me deeply. I am also a new mom and CoCo's mom really got me when she told Chili "You're doing great!" I was struggling with being a new mom and this one statement made me ugly cry, hard!!!!! I needed to hear that at that time and it's a little sad it came from a cartoon dog!!!! But nonetheless Bluey has helped teach me how to be a great mom!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

The two moments that bring me to tears (though not ugly tears), are the end of Sleepytime when the sun rises and the music swells, and the end of Barky Boats, when Bluey tells the fairies to keep an eye on her buddy Mia in "Big School". So sweet. To be clear, I rarely tear up at media. Bluey is special.

Jean-Luc really hits hard. When I was a kid I met a kid while on vacation. We played every day, I got to meet her family, we went to see spider-man, and on the last day there we said we would meet up next summer.
My family couldn't afford to go there the next year. Or the next. I can't remember her name anymore either so I can't find her online.
Sometimes special people come into our lives, stay for a bit, and then they have to go.
    I hope she's doing alright.

I hate the fact that tv and movies are so boxed in these days. Kids shows are for kids, teen shows are for teens, adult shows are for adults. Rarely do we find shows and movies that are for everyone anymore. I hope the success of Bluey reminds writers and directors that stories made for everyone are so important 💜
