I love so many things about your set up. Your crafting room is adorable, and your inventory sorter is bananas! I also like the cute little museum room you have set up for your trophies. I don't know why I didn't think of setting up fishing biomes close to home the way you did, because it's one of the first things I do on Terraria. Thanks for the inspiration!

ya I made this by myself. It took a long time. I don't know how many hours but it was a lot. The storage room alone was at least 4 hours. And I just redid it after making that video so that took a lot of time remaking. Thanks for the sub!
Love it...just wish there was a way to keep the auto-sorting but not make the actual "room" so ugly. I wish you could move the auto-sorting away and somehow transport the "final" destination chests elsewhere in a nicer looking room. I haven't setup sorting yet because it just kills the looks of the rooms :(
I understand that. I am working on a horizontal one that I was hoping would hide things better but its still got issues with the ugly. I made this sorter before rotating chests was possible. Eventually we'll figure something out that looks good and functions well.
Excellent base! How did you create the different biomes so close together? I haven't been able to figure out how to get the lava/different types of water
Technically my base is in the clay caverns biome. So when fishing in the normal water, I get clay caverns fish. For the rest of the water I moved it by digging a trench from where the water/lava was to where I wanted it to be. took awhile. For the rest of the decor I just tore up ground and decorations and planted them in those spots to give the look/feel of the biome.

I like how you have your boss fight zones set up. I also want to build something similar but dont most of the bosses break the walls and decorations? Is there a way you have to prevent it?
I try to make my arenas bigger than the boss will attack/move through. But they still sometimes break things. I replace beds a lot and walls every now and then.
I don't have a video explaining how to move lava. You dig a trench from where the lava is to where you want it to be. its tedious. Though there is a mod for buckets now and I have a video for modding coming down the pipeline in a few weeks.
you can craft an iron bucket and fill it, then dump the water elsewhere. Though when I made this base the bucket didn't exist and I did it by digging a channel of the water over where I wanted it. I recommend using the bucket.

If you just til the fungal ground it will be completely safe and won't spawn zombies.
Edit: Though the slow effect from it would get annoying. 😮💨

broken stone tiles I believe. you can find them in scenes in the stone biome.
What is the light under it?
