You should point out that your reading will only be as accurate as is the shaft to the lathe chuck. If improperly tightened, even a hub that’s within tolerance, might read out of spec.
I see that you are checking the face, is it acceptable to check the outer edge of the prop shaft instead? That was how I did it. Wondering if I was wrong. :-) Thanks for the vid! Jim
