You can never go wrong with Annick Goutal! I currently have Tenue de Soirée, been eyeing Nuit Et Confidences too! Carner Barcelona's Tardes and Besos are also on my wish list. ☺️
I juts found your channel and bought some samples from your decant shop. Thank you so much for making fragrance accessible! I’ve never bought a single fragrance but lately I wanted to get into that world and I didn’t really know where to start. I’ve been watching your videos, making wish lists and trying sprays every time I go shopping to learn what I like. Thank you for all you do! It’s crazy that you can explain a fragrance. It’s definitely a language of its own. ❤
I recently sampled Green Butterfly and oh my god did I fall in love with it and I just ordered a bottle of it. I’m always grateful for your content as anything you’ve recommended that has peaked my interest, has always been a success. I would say Oh La La is my favorite niche that you recommended and I’m sure Green Butterfly will give it a run for its money. Thank you again Yana! ❤️😊
I love Tardes. It has a woody dry down on me that is divine. Most perfumes don't stay with me more than an hour, but this one does. My husband likes it a lot.
Nest fragrances are very nice. My daughter loves the Indigo perfume. It smells so good on her. I wanted to thank you for introducing me to the Yara Lattafa perfume. Great fragrance at any price. And the bottle is beautiful. The Nuit et Confidences sounds incredible. You got me hooked on the Psychedelic Love. Great for the winter months. Thank you, Yana. Great perfume choices!❤❤
I love your recommendations on powdery elegant scents! Violet Nuee Bleue is so good and Tardes! Trying to remember the other you suggested awhile ago in the purple bottle from Goutal! I really like Nishane 100 Silent Ways, I’m on my 2nd bottle! I just ordered Levant and Pink Me Up! So excited to get them!! Great video and recommendations!😊
My first niche fragrance was Mojave Ghost from Byredo. I fell head over heals for it when i first smelled it in the hotel lobby where i work. I just had to find out what it was. After some detective work i found out the name and bought it and its one of my absolute favourite fragrences now (unfortunately since it costs a fortune and doesnt really last) I did buy the oil dupe at oil perfumery and it smells very similar but i still prefer the original.
Thank you, that was super helpful. To me, JHAG is a niche brand which is very accessible. I also love Lalique, but I´m not sure whether they´re niche. The only niche fragrance I have is Delina. I usually go for designers, especially older ones (90ies, 00ies...) Your description of Pink me Up reminded me immediately of YSL Parisienne, which I recently bought second hand. I surely have to try Goutal (technically they are designers) 🙂 Many greetings from Austira!
For me the safest niche are Penhaligon's fragrances. None of them are super weird yet they are different from ordinary designer perfumes, they are classy, great quality, not overprized and the house is well known so you can easily sell your fragrance in case you made a mistake or you don't like it anymore
I have a 2ml of Gypsy Water and love it, and just noticed Byredo's site has a travel spray trio of it plus Blanche and Bal D'Afrique. Not sure about buying niche from any place that isn't a discounter or decanter (because i am low income.) Yana, your thoughts on buying from niche houses directly?
@@MurkaMurkovsky Myths Woman - You have to absolutely LOVE florals! Because it is EXTREMELY so! Myths Man - Smells like Mount Pinatubo in 1991. Literally volcanic ash covered in chrysanthemums, rum, and powder. Both all powerful.
I would say, I don’t think powdery perfumes are necessarily beginner friendly though. It’s a very hard category to pass through and “click” with when you don’t know well certain fragrance profiles. Although I like some powdery perfumes now, that was not something I appreciated at all when I first got into perfumes. In fact, it took me years and still not my favorite profile. My husband and friends that aren’t fragrance fanatics literally detest when I wear anything powdery, Lol. I think sweet gourmands, sexy warm vanilla/ambers, and complex florals is where is at for beginners.
Thank you for that perspective. I tried to include something across all spectrums in this list while staying true to my personal taste. I personally don't lean towards deep, rich gourmand fragrances and it's not a category of fragrance that in my experience has resonated with a beginner group of fragrance lovers. That being said, I have included a few of my favourite ones in this list which I do believe to be beginner friendly :)
@@TheScented I like your list. A little bit of everything 😊 I just thought about how others reacted to my powdery fragrances. Not popular around here 😂
I bought Tenue Soiree of your recommendation and my boss gave me a compliment on it, said that I have a good taste 😁
Haha that's a nice compliment! 🥰
I bought it too!, b/c of you, but my pom pom is brown!...lol.....yours looks purple!....love it
Your channel is so underrated! I love the way you speak and describe fragrances! Clear and honest reviews. Thank you so much for your hard work! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me 🥰

Thanks, Yana! I'm new to niche, so this is helpful. 🌺💗🌺
Thanks so much for this! Much needed and very helpful! 😁 Also you look stunning! Love what you've done with your hair 😊

Good morning all happy Monday morning and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter
Can you do a video on essential oils and aromatherapy, which ones are safe to wear as perfume, etc, any recommendations, thanks

Yup, L’Oreal broke Alien. Thank goodness I have several back up bottles of the OG.

Much success! God bless!
Wanted to try Levant from Ormonde Jayne but it's sold out on your website? It is coming back?
Hi Jana, do you know of any good dupes for Flowerbomb?
Yana, I wanted to ask what do you think of Myths by Amouage? Really wanna hear your thoughts
I actually haven't tried it yet. It wasn't in the Amouage discovery set I have but I'll find it and share my thoughts 😊
